As an American, how can I buy all of these perfomances? I got Wembly 2016 and Budokan 2014, both red and black nights. But I've been scrambling to find a place to buy or even watch Legend 43 in full.
They are wadaiko (taiko for short) drummers of a local eisa (folk dance) troupe. Legend 43 took place in Okinawa, which was the finale stop of their 25-country, 98-gig world tour. To celebrate, BM decided to make it a pro-shot concert, & added Okinawan culture to thank their local hosts. As for the chants, I'm told it's イーヤーサッサー いやっ (ī-yā-sassā hā-i-ya). Basically the Okinawan dialect versions of the wasshoi & dokkoisho mantras. (English equivalent is 'heave ho'.)
damn they rock the hall 😍 Babymetal might not hit everyones taste (I admit, I know a few of these people 😉), but even the most staunch critic has to admit, they put on hell of a show 🤘🦊🤘
I got my Legend 43 Blu-ray today from CD Japan and it doesn't work. I have 10 other BabyMetal Blu-ray's from them and they all work fine. I was soooo disappointed. Now I have to return it (all the way back to Japan) and wait for a new one. Frustrating.
As much as I love BM, I straight up hate this song. It sounds rigid, unmusical, just bad, I don´t understand what the band sees in Metali. There is like a dozen of better options to play live. 🙂
