Thanks!Always wonderful explanations!!!!
10:03 Yes, that in a nutshell. I have to be honest and say that recently I have struggled against 1. d4. I'm to timid to play the Nimzo sometimes, and QGD or Slav isn't always easy to play. Benko/Volga gambit gives me lots of fun, but I usually don't win. I even learned Old Benoni, and get an equal position with it, but even that didn't give me advantage. This is definitely the opening I needed, and it's more solid then it seemed at first sight. The ideas seem similar to the old Benoni, but yet not as dubious and risky as the Modern Benoni. Now I'm finally ready, now I can rest easy and sleep at night, knowing that I have a powerful weapon to improve my chess. I can't wait to watch this video over and over. Thank you Mio!
I was willing to give it a try and Mio is there with clear explanations and importants variations… Thanks a lot!!!
Always buddy 👍
What an interesting, solid and unusual line...! Mio, only you to give us these gifts, thank you very very very much! My best regards
Thanks Mio for your very good presentation.
Brilliant explanation! I’ve wanted to learn this opening for a long time 👍
Well, that’s why BigMio is here 😂
Thanks! I've been playing the Benko without much success, so this is a nice alternative way of playing Benoni :)
Next video is about Benko - Perunovic variation!
Great teaching!!
Great Video
Thank you for the tutorial!
Very interesting, thanks!.
Interesting. I am a big fan of the Czech Pirc. This seems like it would definitely surprise most opponents.
👍
wow, that's a really interesting fortress for black, knight on g7. sometimes I see similar structure in Philadorf or Pirce, It could have place even in old indian 😁. I like more old benoni, but going to check this line, it looks very funny for black, especially those knights moves. thanks very much for so great explanation. very good video
just realized that would be good to highlight that breaks on c file or f file is plan for black too. not just for white
excellent page perfect english
A nice ideia. I am struggling to find something against d4. I usually play the Dutch, but my opponents (OTB) already know that. Thank you for the interesting Nd8+g6.
Thanks!
Thank you Abraham!
I took up the Czech Benoni as a sort of shutdown weapon with the advantage in blitz of creating a closed position where I'm likely to know my way around while my opponent has to figure out a plan in minutes. I didn't get good results with it, so I started looking more into Nimzo / semislav (if white doesn't play 3. Nc3). This video gets me interested to retry the Czech Benoni.

Great vid Mio. Maybe you can do a follow up regarding lines where white plays 4. p x p e.p. after black’s e5. Thanks!
Hi Mio!
In one game, my opponent have played this variation.
1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3. d5 e5 4. Nc3 d6 5. e4 Be7 6. Be2 O-O 7. h3 Ne8 8. g4 Bg5 I lost that game, because i did not know, what to play in such positions.
Can you advise me, what to play against this kind of early attacks on the kingside?
Thank you in advice.
Daniel
Find the video :) You have everything there 😃
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial Thank you for the very very fast anwear. I did not find it in the video. My opponent played 0-0-0 and in the video, all the variations are with 0-0. Can you tell me what to play? IT is a little bit urgent.
@@tabletennis1237 Were you White or Black?
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial I found it on 7:40. Thanks!
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial i was black
good anylasis .... fluent
What If White does not play 3.c4 but 1.d4 c5 2.d5 e5 and then 3.Nc3 instead ?
Thats top line for White!
Possible to use it only with the move order 1d4Nf6!, 2. c4c5, 3d5e5! Becuase yeah, if white doesnt play c4 your Nc3! changes it to white favour
@@windysoul4603 You are so outdated! Find video here and within 8 minutes learn how to crush Benoni with c5-d6-e5 structure! Its called Czech Benoni 😉
@@MiodragPerunovicOfficial hmm, did you really read my comment? My thrid move for black is e5 - this creates the c5-d6-e5 Czeck benoni structure. I`ve played it for many years. I was just responding to a comment where black responds with c5 on move 1 and this allows white not to play c4. So, who's outdated?
@@windysoul4603 ok smart boy, have a good day
Why not Qxe5+ at 13:05?
Probably Qg7 and King is coming soon to d6 pawn
Main opening
White Can play Qxe5 instead of Qg5 .. maybe move order is wrong ?! 13.00m
Benoni zato neigram..dosta je ruzna pozicija ..bjeli odma zauzima prostor u startu..to netreba igrat kao crni.. 🤣🤣
🤦♂️
You can always meet 1.d4 with d5. You'll not give any space advantage to white but still black are a bit worse. On top of that - you'll have to know tons of theory.
