That’s exactly how I want mine but the parts are hard to find. I do have metal beadlocks on it though & I’ve already seen a few with brushless motors & 4 wheel steer that’s what makes this RC so attractive it has so many options.
It's hard to believe the hate this little Capra received from the RC community. And the price compared to the actual scale is not terrible. I couldn't wait to get it on Utah's incredible rocks!
I agree. When it comes down to it, this trail buggy isn’t going to compete against scale trucks. The majority will be sold to people who will enjoy it on their own and there’s no need to worry about crossover compatibility. There will be options for it. It must be amazing on Utah’s terrain!
It was a really poorly timed announcement because traxxas had just released and actual 18th scale for 100$ less. Idk though. I can't think of a way to justify the value. I got an RTR 10th scale Capra brand new for 299.
@@JSmooVE3990 The TRX4M is not even close to the value of the Capra. The TRX4M should be $100 less. I love the TRX4M as well, but we are comparing apples to oranges.

I have to travel to find good terrain and than I'm by myself in middle of nowhere so I kinda fell out of crawling all together been robbing the servos and receivers for bashers
So I played around and found if you take the front springs off of the shock and keep everything in the back on it made a huge difference. And add some weights
Treal has the brass stuff for it already at about half the price... which is good since most of the stuff from Axial is still on backorder. A lot is still showing "Dec 2022" but now the steering axle is saying "May 2023." I really want those overdrive gears but they too are hard to get.
Just got mine today. I understand this is a crawler but man is it slow. Like my daughters 19.99 wallmart special is faster by a long shot. Anyway to increase the speed just to make this a little more versatile?

This vehicle is not 18 scale maybe close to 1/12 for the money I'll buy 1/10 I am a local hobby supplier and market sellable things this isn't selling lol 😂 I sent 10 back!! Spoke with them also! Just trying throw something out for the 4th quarter earnings! Alot easier to push when they are free!!!
Axial sure favors you 'Influencers' because I've been waiting a month for the Overdrive gears and alloy steering links I ordered from Horizon. I got a 40kg servo waiting for when my aluminum steering links finally arrive. Injora already has brass portal covers for less than 1/2 the price, and several offerings of brass 12mm hexes can be found for as little as $11.?? on eBay. Isn't steel heavier than aluminum? Wouldn't that weight prove beneficial in the OEM 'lower' suspension links rather than the aluminum replacement?(clever how Axial 'packaged' them) Very informative video nonetheless. Thank you.

Did you change the gears in all 4 wheels or just the front? Also, did you put the brass portal covers on the back too or just the front?
