Biogas use in Northern Kenya

Northern Rangelands Trust-(NRT) with support from the Embassy of Sweden has so far installed 200 Flexi Biogas units in NRT- member conservancies to reduce the reliance on wood fuel.
This has greatly reduced the immense pressure on forests for the demand of firewood and has enhanced the quality of life for the communities living within the conservancy.
