@ need one more insight people tend to make changes to inactive files as well… and those changes just remain on inactive file and does not get applied to active file…is there a way to apply changes to all fines in share-point. Kindly suggest

@@Kumoon009 Not sure I exactly understand what you mean but if you are looking to change the status of changed documents to active or to do some kind of cascade updates on multiple documents then the answer would be Power Automate.

How can we manage version control mechanism between active and inactiv contracts
I would simply add a yes/no column to handle that status and then create filtered views to show active/inactive ones.
