    This song found me when I was abusing myself and everyone everything around me. I listen to it still today to give the ghost a good scare. It’s given me hope and strength to hold onto my prayers, powwow medicine is simply not to be trifled with.

    I was first introduced to drumming by my son at the St Joseph's Pow Wow. There is something ancient and hypnotic about the drumming and singing. I have been hooked ever since.

    Awe inspiring for real.
    I just drove through Dakota's and Montana from Washington state. Heard some Native rumbling on local radio and listened in for the drive. Truly blessed and inspired by it still. Powerful.
    Listening to it loud now.
    Helps me to gather myself. To gather strength.

    anyone born on the American continent is a "native american" ...these peoples... The American First Nations. they are the true heart of the land. the land that was taken, subversed, diseased, and burned by wars all in the name of a few saying they "own" the land... nobody owns this land. these culturally inspiring, spiritually sound, and incredible people have been violently chased out and starved out. I was given a sacred naming ceremony by the last White Mountain Apache Moonwalker. an her students. Words are not good enough to explain they're incredible knowledge and relations with all. Im glad your still here. I will always cherish what your cultures have given me. I Thank You with All of my Heart. Namaste - Ad Infinitum

    Native American drumming and chanting makes my heart pound 1000 times faster. Not to mention it has made me tremble before (not in a bad way...more like awed trembling, if that makes sense). Much respect to the People of the First Nations.

    Im not native either but i grew up in a area filled with natives, not saying that it was bad, some here are super nice and they would do anything to make you feel like you are at your own home.
    Some on the other hand can be rude but once you get to know them they turn out really nice. Half of my friends are native i love them.

    Sioux? I thought Alexis Nakota were Assiniboine ? If they are Sioux then they are not Treaty.

    • @TheNoNameNative
      @TheNoNameNative 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Assiniboine is "Sioux"

    • @TheNoNameNative
      @TheNoNameNative 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are Nakota

    • @wovokanarchy
      @wovokanarchy 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheNoNameNative Assiniboine were traditional enemies of the Sioux. The Assiniboine Nakota were allies of the Cree and Ojibway. Sioux is a French word for the Dakota/Lakota in the United States. So i assume the Alexis Nakota Sioux are not Treaty Indians since the Sioux in Canada didn't sign Treaties with the Crown because they came from the United States?

    • @TheNoNameNative
      @TheNoNameNative 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Assiniboine is nakota. Which is part of the Oceti Sakowin. But Idk about their treaty status. Why does it matter?? And "Sioux" didn't just come from the US. Ask the elders
