I haven't heard of this game but it Looks great. I'm a big fan of Ludo which I'm currently playing on my phone against real players, most of whom are from India so obviously a popular game over there. I'd like to learn Backgammon so I'm gonna check out your previous videos for some info on that. Great video. You have a new subscriber
Seems that half the strategy comes from choosing which "penalty" peg of the other player's to remove, which is super interesting! Kickstarter backer here, looking forward to more peg games! (ID: Ruby Wish)
@@NewVentureGames are there any champions of this game? And do you think it has deep complexity like chess? I've also seen 6x7 boards with 14 pieces each
@@tonymaurice4157 I have not heard of any organized competitions for Yoté - but there may be! And, yes, I've seen variants as well. I suppose there's a practical limit to the board size!
@@tonymaurice4157 The depth depends (like so many abstract games) on the proficiency of the players, but it can get pretty intense. I could not find documentation for the game being older. Most records of the type are European accounts within the past few centuries, but, of course, we can *assume* that it's older.
I’m literally in awe of your channel. Woah. I want to connect at some point.
Amazing!
Great!

So easy to foil your opponent's plans... and your own, if you're not careful. Thanks for your support!

@@NewVentureGames I would imagine the game has some serious depth and complexity? And Probably much older than the 1800s
