I feel the same for the 4th question about sizing for different body proportions.
I've got short torso and long legs and I find it tricky to find a good size.
I feel much better on size smaller than it would be recommended by most manufacturers, but it comes with some disadvantages. What we really need are not only bacis frame sizes, but different designs for different proportions. Or a size matrix, where you could choose reach and stack individually.

In cold weather, the main issue with sluggish suspension is the damper oils viscosity... You could reduce any compression settings to soften it

5:28 Yes Deore RD is a great option. the cassette seems nice too, shifts smoother than previous gen. But please be careful with the spacer, they are plastic, don't fiddle with them, don't step on them on an uneven surface, they will snap, I tested it with my fingers I snapped them. But I wanted to install the alu spacers I had from older XT cassettes anyway. But I asked Andrew Major, he did not have any issues with the plastic spacers. But it's not fool proof.
    I've not tried the cranks.
But when it comes to the brakes I would avoid Deore brakes, They have servo wave mechanism, so the reach adjustment effects the power, as reach is not adjusted on the push rod, but on the servo wave mechanism, so useless for short fingers, as adjusted for short reach the piston in the master cylinder can't be pushed far enough so the pads barely touch the rotor. Absurd.
There is no adjustment to counter act this on these brakes.

0:24 The problem with sealant inside inner tubes is that it will clog up, then you have a inner tube sealant sausage. And this will come at a cost of the ride quality and if clogged up at the valve you are screwed.
I doubt the inner tube specific sealants like Slime inner tube sealant will work better.
Also tube will might get glued to it self.

11:06 I mentioned Hydraulic brakes, but mechanical brakes can get issues in zub zero temps too, as the wires can get wet when it's not sub zero and you ride trough puddles and snow, and once it gets to zub zero then the wire freezes to the hose, so I recommend using suspension grease on the wire to prevent it. Chain lubes will work in a pinch but they will make a mess. Sram Butter/Slickoleum/ Slick Honey, (all made by Slickoleum apparently, at least Sram butter is for sure, it says so on the box) should work well. Shimano has their grease for this, but I've not tried it.

I really feel privileged about the fact that Anna mentioned my question, and I also blushed when she mentioned me. She is so lovely. So thanks GMBN team, particularly Anna and Owen. I asked that 'cos I am 1,81m tall and have longer legs than torso, so I usually choose a bike which is a size down the recommended one. It kinda worked for me, as a size L bike from Giant that I got some time ago feels a bit big for me. Thanks

11:06 Hydraulic brakes are also effected in low sub zero temps.
I noticed the Formula Cura 4 brakes with Formula Mineral oil got woody feel and more sensitive. But still work well. Same with Shimano.
I've asked Trickstuff, their brakes should work well down to -15C with Bionol. I don't know how they would do in -20C
I've read on MTBr forum that Sram brakes, Lewis brakes had issues with pistons not retracting in -20C. I don't know how much that's the piston seals and the fluid.

When its cold everything shrinks at different rates
So your lowers may shrink a bit more than the stanchions and may bind a little bit
I have this problem on my commuter bike where my frame shrinks on my suspension saddle post so much that is not moving anymore

    11:06 Hello from Norway.
If it's just chilly, but not sub zero and fork feels harsh, just do a few drops and bomb down stairs for it to heat up. But this won't do anything when it's below freezing. I noticed a massive difference on a Fox 32 Evo. I no longer have this fork, but they performed poorly in the cold. Now I have EXT ERA, it performs better, but that fork feels plusher and yet supportive, but this fork I can adjust properly, but it too gets harsh. pumping up worked on the Fox fork I had to do it mid ride sometimes.
For some reason I don't have to pump it up more in -10C, but it feels harsh. Probably could drop the pressure some more, but it won't get rid of the harshness, as that's the damper fluid.

5:57 I've tried Sun Race cassettes, they are junk. Here is my experience:
bent teeth, bent cogs, sharp edges on ramps and teeth, had to use sand paper to sand all sharp edges, use flat head screw driver to bend back teeth and cogs.
I've tried several 11-46T, I've had issues on all of them.
I've tried two 11-50T both had all of these issues but they developed play in the rivets, so much I could not shift. I'm not the only one.
Lock rings rounded off . But I keep spares, so just replaced it.
Avoid Microshift cassettes as I've senn people have issues with the teeth and ramps on those.

#askGMBNTech I think it was this week or last week, there was a question about sealant for tubes. Muc-Off does make a product just for that: "Inner Tube Sealant". They also claim their standard tubeless sealant will also work on tubes. I used it the Inner Tube sealant for my daughter's bike. It's either has worked flawlessly or it hasn't need had to work at all... but she hasn't had a flat in six months.

Totally incorrect... Its the damper fluid viscosity that's making the suspension sluggish in very cold weather. Coils suspension has damper fluid and is effected the same way. You just don't need to reset your air pressure like u might with air, that's all.

#askgmbntech question... what are some of the problems with over forking your bike? example: I recently replaced my 160 mil fork with a 170 mil. In the process, I replaced the head tube cup with one that decreased the HT angle, so the resulting HT angle remains virtually unchanged (around 64.5 degrees. Other than changing my ST angle slightly and raising my bb (which BTW I lowered with the flip chip), I really don't see the downside, structurally speaking. What am I missing? Love the show, Thanks in advance.
