    This piece was composed in 1850, the year after Chopin’s death, and is more of a Chopin-style Liszt piece, likely to honor his deceased friend. At some parts, it sounds like Fantasie Impromptu, and is constructed almost like a Nocturne. Very well done.
    Edit: It is a nocturne apparently.

      From personal experience, I would say this piece is very hard to execute. Not only the techniques but also the melody shifts between hands and those complicated expressions will make it difficult for you to perform it to the full extent. For this piece, what you hear is often not what your audiences hear. You can surely manage to learn it within a reasonable amount of time, but it may take some good time to sort of master this and be able to perform in front of an audience if you are just a casual piano player who plays for fun.

    • @xijinping1099
      @xijinping1099 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Reality rupture The way the music is constructed is similar to a nocturne, with a simple melody and a complex counter-melody. I’d say it’d be a little bit harder to play than most of the nocturnes, but not too much harder.

      this can not be learnt by ear, period

    • @__jan
      @__jan 7 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      I disagree. Someone learning this by ear will never be as good as someone playing this from the sheet music. All the little details are in the sheet music, and considering the kind of piece we're talking about (romantic era), it varies wildly based on personal interpretation. A person learning this by ear can indeed copy someone else's performance, but unless they look at the sheet music, and see what the "base" of the entire piece is, they will never be able to interpret it their own way- meaning they'd lack the most important quality of a good musician.
      Copying doesn't make you a good musician. End of story. :)

    • @__jan
      @__jan 7 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      It might be possible, but the level of hearing you need is only found in savants. Even a person with absolute pitch won't be able to decipher everything- and it makes practicing the piece incredibly difficult. Overall, that's why sheet music even exists. Because it's the best medium to capture music and allow others to learn it. Audio recordings are far behind that. You might easily be able to learn some pop songs on the piano by ear- that I will admit, since there's really no denying that. But a piece as complicated and beautiful as liebestraum no. 3? No, that can't be done. Atleast not at the level as with sheet music. My point was never that it isn't possible, anything is possible, but that it will never be the same quality. No matter what. :)

      wrong, it's al about how you interpret it. the sheet is the page that contains the words to something so wonderful. that some just can't understand, or hardly do. the piano is mererly a bridge to speek those beautifull words outloud.

      and for you ilijas. find a good teacher (not a school, those are shit) and practice. wether you have talent or not. without practice you get nowhere. and DON'T PLAY ON A DIGITAL PIANO OR KEYBOARD. you're better off spending 500 bucks on a beginners acoustic piano and getting the feeling for the keys. seriously. it's a huge fucking difference

    Liebesträume (German for Dreams of Love) is a set of three solo piano works (S.541/R.211) by Franz Liszt, published in 1850. Uhland's poem for the famous third Notturno is about unconditional mature love ("Love as long as you can!", "O lieb, so lang du lieben kannst"). "Liebestraum No. 3" is the last of the three that Liszt wrote, and the most popular. It can be considered as split into three sections, each divided by a fast cadenza requiring dexterous finger work and a very high degree of technical ability. It is one of the few showcases of Liszt's ability to create colorful music.

You just have to practice first on you’re right hand and then move on to you’re left.Its easy if you know how to read notes...hard part is how much soul or emotions you put in,that’s difficult for me (sorry if I’m late)

    • @bassel5280
      @bassel5280 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TripleGatan the first cadenza(1:21) is not that hard it took me 3 days to completely finish it seems confusing but its just Ddm to Edm inversions going up then down, technically it's not that hard but also not easy. The second cadence (2:50) is a motion of thirds and minor thirds forming a chromatic scale going down this is much harder than the first cadenza for me at least. Also the middle section with the b flat major key is very hard voicing out the melody out of moving chords split and inverted into two hands.

    • @kevinl346
      @kevinl346 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Nah, just got either a big hand or long fingers. It's completely normal. I easily reach a 11th, stretching a bit I get to the 12th and 'hardly' get to the 13th without pressing 2 keys at the same time.

    • @gamerwhogames2081
      @gamerwhogames2081 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    • @caterscarrots3407
      @caterscarrots3407 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can reach a 10th at most but only with certain keys. With others, I can only reach a 9th. Even an octave is sometimes uncomfortable for my small hands.

    • @corebite
      @corebite 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      if you can reach a 9th key perfectly. that's enough to play every and any piece that's been written. longer than that is nothing more than usefull though. so you're lucky.

    • @caterscarrots3407
      @caterscarrots3407 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are you sure about that? Because I have seen piano music that requires 10ths, 11ths, and the left hand is already doing a lot in the bass but this 10th or 11th interval might be in the second octave or something like that. I am not sure if I would ever be able to play pieces that are intricate and have 10ths or 11ths because of my small hands.
