    so beautiful. you seem to use the right amount of acrylic for each nail. not too much and not too little. not too bulky or a waste of powder. that way, you don't have to file it down all day long. omg. love this!

    I went to go get my nails done at a salon in Georgia (not acrylics though) I just wanted my nails filed and painted. I picked this nude with a tin it of purple in it and the lady painted my nails so horribly. There were lumps everywhere and she painted my cuticles... I hate it when people paint their cuticles it just makes the nail job sloppier to me. (No hate) even I could paint my nails better at home than the lady did. Thanks for reading my rant.

      Did you see the nail, it's literally shredded. You're only supposed to use a nail file on a natural nail going one direction, that causes splitting.

    • @crooksdiva214
      @crooksdiva214 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree totally. Never are you to apply.apply . the drill to natural nail and you're not supposed to apply the nail tips like that either. I've watched a few of this guy's videos and if he's supposed to be professional and have a license and act like you've never even been to a class before learned all this watching other people in botched shops.

    • @samanthagrahamxo4942
      @samanthagrahamxo4942 9 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      shauna crook I've seen a lot. Of professionals do this. And use the drill to Clean the real nail and cuticles. People have different techniques. As long as it turns out great and they stay on who cares. Lol

    • @DontWorry-About-It
      @DontWorry-About-It 9 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      Samantha Graham Luxbeautyxo I care, because it's not completely safe to use it that way. Getting the monomer on the skin can cause skin irritation, rashes and the like. I've known those who have had nail techs use the drill on their natural nail and have been in pain a full week later because of damage to their nails. Just because you've seen a lot of professionals do it doesn't mean it's what they should be doing, because it's honestly NOT.

    • @samanthagrahamxo4942
      @samanthagrahamxo4942 9 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Well honey. Not everyone has those problems. I get my nails done all the time and never ever had any type of problem. They all have different techniques an ways to do nails. Their OBV professionals who know more. And they're going to keep doing it. Wasn't trying to make a argument. Everybody is different tho. JS.

    • @DontWorry-About-It
      @DontWorry-About-It 9 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Different techniques or deviating from what is recommended for professionals because it's what's healthy and what it's created for? As a PROFESSIONAL, I'm saying it's the second, last time I checked, so I'm not going to be doing that. And I'm sorry if you believe I thought you were in fact starting an argument, I did not. I thought you were doing what anyone would, defending the professional because they certainly ought to know what they're doing. Every nail tech and cosmetologist I've spoken to and worked with has advised against the use of electric files on the natural nail and prolonged contact of monomer on the skin. I am stating the truth of the trade and giving my professional opinion on that matter. While it is true that everyone is different and will use different techniques, it is also true that they are advised and directed against certain techniques for the safety of the client.
