Where the shift pedal is, it is attached to a spline fit with a bolt going through it to hold it there ! All you need to do is loosen the most of the way and then take a screwdriver, flat blade type and place it in the slot and then take a mallet or hammer, then tap the screwdriver handle until the gap is larger , then slide it off, make sure that the bolt is out already also ! 😊
