@@CodyMajeres Cody I've been a photographer for over 60 years, transitioned into digital in 1999 and there is one thing I've learned you never stop learning.
I will typically have my WB in Cloudy for everything, however my workflow is to see how it looks on screen before pressing record or the shutter. 9/10 times cloudy works for me, so that's why I prefer to have mine set to Cloudy. However, I shoot a lot of outdoor and the indoor scenes I shoot are typically my office which has a warm-wood tone vibe. An example where cloudy isn't the best WB to use is in heavy fluorescent light.
You are going to go to Manual mode and adjust the settings to how you want them to be. Once you have your camera (in Manual mode) set exactly how you want it, go to Menu > Wrench Icon > Page 6 > Custom shooting mode (C1 - C3) and hit "Register settings". Then select which C you want it to register to, up to 3. Note: This will register EVERY setting on the camera, including things like whether or not the camera beeps or if the grid shows. So make sure it's EXACTLY how you want it!
Hello,Cody Majeres, I own a Canon 6D MarkII and I would like to upgrade, I am especially interested in studio photography and events, I'm curious if there are significant differences in image quality between a Canon device like mine and Canon EOS R and also between EOS R and R5, am I wrong if I say that the Canon 5D Mark 4 is over the Canon EOS R? I am exclusively interested in the quality of the resulting image, any advice and suggestion is welcome, thanks a lot
Hey, great question! Short answer would be, if you have the budget, the R5 is going to be a beast of a camera for you. If we're looking strictly at image quality, all 4 cameras named in your comment will get incredible image quality. If you're looking to upgrade, without a budget I would recommend the R5, but the EOS R is a great, reliable camera that has incredible image quality!
Do you use any different settings? I'd love to hear what you do!

I was the same way. It really is a whole new world! It's fascinating and a fun new challenge to learn though. Still learning myself!

How can you save a setting on your C buttons?
