    1st thanks for your nice and amazing videos..
    I am using my setup for dental shooting , but I want to dive through vediography , want to do artistic dental vediography.
    .
    So I want to ask if the dji 3 mini will handle my setup.
    That's my setup , Canon eosR with
    Canon macro lens 100mm RF .
    Also, I want to ask if can I fix led light on the cam. Or the gimbal while vediography.
    Thanks & best regards

    What would you recommend as a first lens for the R? The 24 - 105 f4, or RF 35 mm, or something else?

    • @vaskoobscura_
      @vaskoobscura_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends what you want to do. The 24-105 is a great first lens for photography because it has a lot of versatility. It's also good for TH-cam videos but only in 1080p. If you want to shoot 4k TH-cam videos the EOS R has a crop and a wider lens would be better. I made a video talking about it if you want to check it out. th-cam.com/video/0Zl6zm5nfBc/w-d-xo.html
      It all really depends on what you want to do.

    I cant stop my videos from being choppy on my R5. settings are - 4Kd- 25 fps- IPB shutter speed at 50. the video is choppy in camera while filming and on computer. I have the canon 5Dmk3 and dont have any issues. Is it the camera or me not setting it up correctly? Thanks in advance. Love your videos 👍

    • @vaskoobscura_
      @vaskoobscura_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      OK that's interesting. 4kd 25p shutter 50. That's pretty easy work for the R5. I pretty much film with the same settings for all my TH-cam work. The only thing that comes to mind is your memory card? The R5 shoots at a high bit rate and you need a card that can handle the data. Maybe your card is dying or it's too slow. I would test with a faster memory card and see what happens. If you still have issues than it might be an issue with the camera. But hopefully it's just a memory card problem.
      Here is a good video about the R5 and what cards speeds you need to record different videos. Hope that helps. th-cam.com/video/h048yhk0W5A/w-d-xo.html

    Is there a specific way to get sharper, clear footage from canon eos R? When shooting C Log

    • @vaskoobscura_
      @vaskoobscura_  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Shooting in ALL-I will give you better quality over IPB. Sharp lenses also help. Sometimes a bad lens or low quality filter on the front of that lens can rob you of image quality. You can also add some sharpening in editing to make images look sharper. Something I ran into when I first started video editing was that my export settings were not high enough quality. If your export bit rate is low that can degrade image quality. The settings I use in this video are the settings I'm still using for all my TH-cam work. Hope that helps. Good luck with your video editing.

    Hey, how do I export video from canon eos r to Mac?

    • @vaskoobscura_
      @vaskoobscura_  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just pull out the memory card from the Camera and plug it into a memory card reader that is plugged into my mac. Then I go into the folder with the videos on the memory card and drag and drop them onto your computer. Simple.

    Im confused with my settings. I Want record a Music Video, i dont understand why people dont shoose 4k setting. What is the best setting for record a music video in 4k inside a discotec . What is the best setting? 4K all Its possible have a Movie Style with 4k ? regards from Portugal. good Video !

    • @vaskoobscura_
      @vaskoobscura_  ปีที่แล้ว

      The best possible setting would be 4k ALL-I. I would set the frame rate to 24 frames per second to get that movie style cinematic look. And of course if you are shooting in a discotec I would use a fast wide lens to maximize the available light. Good luck it sounds like a fun project.

    what SD card do you recommend for shooting 4k?

    • @vaskoobscura_
      @vaskoobscura_  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The best cards to use for video are the ones with the "V90" marking on them. Thy have the faster speeds needed for 4k video. I prefer to use SanDisk cards with Canon cameras. This is the card I would recommend. amzn.to/3RPBmjQ But there are lower cost v90 cards out there if you're looking for something less pricy. Hope that helps. Sorry for the delayed response.
