Hey I just brought the Laing M30F and I’m using a URSA 12K pro. But when I plug everything in as follows. But there’s no power going through the camera. Do you think the battery might be too weak to support this rig?
Yes I will be doing a new video soon on using it. I was was waiting for Laing to send me the newest version but i will go ahead and do another video on the M30E. In the meantime subscribe to the channel and watch the behind the scenes video where I use it with a gimbal.
@@CoreCreativeMedia video on the current model you have would be sweet. I'll look out for that. I am more interested in the stablizer itself as I can't find anything online other than the argument not to purchase from users of household names.
@@thealiev994 What Camera are you using with the Zephyr Steadicam. If it's stiff then two thing are wrong. 1) your arm is not balance for the weight as described in the video or 2) your camera is not heavy enough to get the arm balanced. If your camera is not heavy enough you will have the same issue with the Laing M30E arm
Yes the docking is one of the weakest points about this stabilizer. But after having it for almost a year it has definitely held up so far. Might fair better on a true Matthews or American combo stand with a 5/8 spigot.

NO, I don't, I think you got a faulty product that the wiring is messed up in the shaft.

I ordered one last week. Thanks for the detailed explanation. I really want to compare it to my Zephyr Steadicam. Seems stiff

If your camera is not heavy enough you will have the same issue with the Laing M30E arm
