Seems that whenever the JAWS theme is played in concert, the audience laughs at the first note! Could be a memory of the way the movie begins, too. I was there on the opening night in Manhattan, and that first growl from the bass fiddles got a nervous laugh from the audience!
"The Murder" sequence (i.e., the shower scene) from "Psycho" when the music is performed live in concert usually elicits an uncomfortable chuckle as well. (I've been there when such a response occurred.)

Some of the performers are a bit out of tune and some were too quick and slow. I don't know if this supposed to be a different version of the original jaws theme, but the quiet sections were really chilling.

I've noticed that too, and no other movie theme I know has ever done that!
