Biss, the 2/6 meant her price was a half-crown. " Women of Easy Virtue" would write the price of their time on the sole of a shoe, so men could chose who they wanted. It was easily scrubbed off on the floor if a policeman came by. I saw this for myself in a bar in my home town in the 1970s, so the method lasted a long time. Similarly men would wear hats with a money note (eg £5) in their hat band, so a "lady" could remove it and hence the contract was completed.

The gun jammed and didn't fire, that's why Tommy had to fight the Army guy.

Tommy and Alfie have a scene in the next season that is legendary

Several, in fact. Over the whole show their arc gets more and more interesting. It's wild that Alfie's portrayal seemed problematic, almost leaning into antisemitic tropes enough that I nearly stopped watching, but as the series went on, he became a very interesting, complex character.

TLDR: 10:50 I would've offed Campbell but I still would've been more infuriated at Polly than Michael was honestly, I understand your opinion and its not wrong but maybe its different in Europe because from my Texan perspective it seems like in general Europeans have better family relationships than Americans but regardless the reason he was mad was that Michael chose that path and accepted it and maintained his honor then Polly decided to go full mother mode which speaking from experience often causes far more harm than good regardless of the mothers intentions and now for the rest of his life he'll have to live with his mothers actions which everyone will praise meanwhile he would've rather died than let that happen and he will never trust his mother again which is a worse outcome than anything that could've happened to him in that jail.
Long Example: If the 'kid'/'son' is an adult and the parent does things 'for him' that they know for a fact the 'kid' wouldn't have wanted them to do and they repeatedly continue that trend at every single opportunity and nothing the kid says matters then all they're doing is putting their kid in a situation where they can tell the parents mean the best but they're constantly messing with things they have zero business messing with and its having zero positive impact on anyone and the kid can't even mention anything to the parents because it'll result in them messing that up too it so basically just forces the kid to be alone and never say anything about anything to their parents and also stay away from their parents as much as possible while not outright cutting ties because every single interaction results in the parents doing stuff that they know the kid doesn't want or need or more often actually hates and it gets to a point where the kid would gladly press a button to make his own parents forget that he existed because that's the only way he could be free because he knows leaving completely will hurt them and they don't deserve it but he doesn't deserve all the harm that all of their actions have caused him no matter their intentions and at a point that harm becomes intentional because he has made it clear to his parents that the things they are doing are not only not wanted but genuinely hated and have zero positive impact on anyone on the planet.
I get thats a long comment but the fear of ever becoming anything like that (like my parents) to my kids makes me never want to have kids and to those that have kids or will have them please be mindful that your kid has every right to tell you to quit doing something that directly effects from the moment they move out and if you continue to do it or even worse play the whole "well you said not 10cm so I went 99mm" game or start doing things like showing up to their apartment when you know they don't want to see you then your kid could and should leave and cut all ties with you because the first thing you taught them was to control their emotions and now you can't control yours and you expect them to allow it to mess up their life instead of cutting ties with you simply because you're their parent and kids owe their parents.
Anyway rant over, I don't expect it to be well received by anyone that hasn't experienced the same but hopefully it might prevent it from happening to someone at some point when Bissy reaches a Billion subs and decides to do a milk tasting challenge
