Who would win - the vegetable section of Walmart, or the army of satan himself?
If history taught me something, Satan got no shit on Nature.
which one is which?
It's only tangentially related, but as a Tyranids player in 40k, that opening shot of the hilariously imbalanced forces is doing it for me
Even better if you are up against Custodes.
Total war 40k
Custodes: Lord and 2 Custodian guard squads
Tyrannids: LL and a full roster
@@florians9949 ohno my gaunts
golden blender goes brrrrr
22 vs 7 units on battlefield. It feels like if you don't have good infantry clearing tools, GS will just roll over you with numbers
And this is why I love the Orcs. Pigs, big pigs, and Wurzzag.
I really want to see what Greenskins can do when you leave the prophet at home, I'm so utterly sick of seeing him.
I'm not expectin Grimgor to suddenly become viable, but come on let's see Azag or something.
I've always thought grom and azhag are perfectly viable.
they probably are but wurzzag is just so much better
@@Nightmare_52 what's better in wurrzag?
@@dds9312 His staff item basically buffs your entire army every time he casts a spell... compared to that, the other Greenskin lords can't help but feel kinda lackluster.
his magic is the best, his survivability is okay because he is small, the staff is stupid strong combined with the cheap spell spam of brainbursta and eadbutt, and their roster is just well suited for a caster lord like him as they dont really need a strong flying fighter like azhag
I feel like rather than nerf the values of the Passive buffs (Lifebloom, etc), they should just make them not global and be 100 m range or something. I think it makes more thematic sense and would address balance as well as preventing people keeping their caster as miles away while still having a massive impact.
Especially when you consider that, back on TT, Lifebloom only healed a single model if I'm not mistaken... A 100m aura is _more_ than generous.
Another victory of Grimgor's Ardboys, lead by Wurrzag
I guess Grimgor just ain’t tha git right now
Everyday for lunch I’m looking forward to Turin’s replays.
This match was over the moment it started. DoC had no means of dealing with all the trash while GS had every tool they needed to delete everything the Daemons had. Bloodcrushers would be amazing in this matchup but CA managed to make them garbage, somehow.
I'm just glad that we eventually got Battle Toads
bloodcrushers would have been epic for him
It's Hog Rider time
It’s surprising to hear DOC don’t have an insane win rate. A ton of the replays I see have them featured. I’d love to see a tournament where Demons, Chaos, and Empire were banned just to see what cool matchups we might get
I think people are sleeping on the goblin shaman on wolf as a viable lord choice (other than Wurzag). You can get the lord (on a wolf) and a caster all for sub 1000 gold. Allows you to bring the ultimate width for your army, is hard to snipe due to fast wolf and if he does die he's as cheap to summon back as a unit of big 'uns.
Bonewood staff unga bunga
Why would I go wide and not get bonewood staff tho?
@@ofgreyhairwaifu4089 Take this battle for instance, it was mostly archers with a few frontline troops and like 1 squig. There wasn't actually many troops fighting at any one time so whenever the staff was used so it didn't even do that much. Guy could have brought like 1800 gold worth of extra units instead.
@@TheGreatMoonFrog The issue is the Greenskins were already almost at their starting unit cap 19/20 and he was capped on basic archers. For his gameplan more elite troops wouldn't have done much since he just wanted a conclave of archers. Another issue is that Brainbusta and 'eadbutt are fantastic against the low armor of Daemons of Chaos against another faction that had higher armor troopers taking goblin magic over orc magic might not be a bad idea. That brings up the biggest issue which is for competitive they know what faction they will be playing against so against DoC where the cheap non-AP magic is already effective it would be a waste not to use the bonewood staff.
bit micro intensive but goblin chariots seems allright here
I do wish demons were a bit better because they are such an interesting army. And like all their troops are quite strong. The problem is they are expensive and so incredibly fragile. Even plaguebearers melt to pretty cheap shooting due to their lack of armor.
They dumpster elite melee but it's so easy for cheap cost effective units and/or range to trade up into them hard.
They have tools to deal with that, seekers, flesh hours, and furries are all amazing at this. But they themselves usually have to be babysat. Your opponent so much as looks at your furries or seekers and they die. Altogether it makes for a competent on paper but unwieldy and oppressively micro intensive faction in practice I find.
Lovely greenskin game, FOR GORK...OR MORK
Fun match great cast man gg
is it possible to get one of these high level players to submit a recording of them playing in the strategic "from outer space" mode?
Daemons of chaos are STILL banned??????????? for ranked
Eight versus nineteen starting units...this could get ugly...
Release.. The hogs!
GG
And they fixed power grab 🤸♂️
Neat to see the Orcs winning.
I watch all your videos and I dont even play TW3. It's like my version of football.
it always felt like these "heal your army for 1% everytime you cast" lore passives just do nothing important
Per unit it probably doesn't amount to much. But let's say the chungus cast about ten cheapo spells in a match. Using the plaguebearers, that's about 1300 extra hp. Doesn't sound like much. When multiplied over a dozen units over the game, of course most units only getting a part of the benefit, it's going to be about 10k hp. For a single passive, that's not too bad. Not exactly game-breaking, but not bad either.
Its just a very very efficient use of the winds of magic.
So (assuming your entire starter army is damaged a bit) each cast is worth 1% the hp of 9000 value. Even more the more you build up. Its not a 1:1 gold value for hp, but you'll get decent value per cast.
Only using the nurgle wind spell for 5 WoM means 16 casts or 16% more hp for your army. Def worth it when you consider the passive is only 100g
Alright I gotta ask what does Dacca or Daka stand for when he talks about archer fire?
It's a reference to the Orks of Warhammer 40k. They call firepower "Dakka". The orks are just a great supply of memes.
It's also the Orks' name for the sound coming out of a gunfire explosion, like a "blam" or "bang" for us.
Always so boring to watch these green skin matches.. They either need to nerf Wurzzag or up some of the others.. It's so bland to look at (no offence to the player).
the meta of competitive total war has been, and always will be, bland. Little to no room to deviate unless you are "just messing around."
Waaaaagh!
man i'm so tired of wurrzag
"High level players"
-same 10 dudes playing against each other for more than 1 year lul.
not their fault. CA refused to properly design/balance their game. So out of all the players that try Multiplayer, it makes sense only about 10 would stick around long enough that could actually stomach spamming Skirmish Cav and undead at each other FOREVER.
So every time you see something bad like this GUO build, it's just them being bored.
Well CA's shill operation has fallen apart, GG on keeoing multiplayer going you coudlve been worse, I'm out fam off to find a community not inherently corrupted
