Thanks for your video...I have a short video of my 93 suburban/ old Jeep looking truck that I dropped the fuel tank and bobbed it to the leaf spring mounts...the original tank was too square and bigto fit behind my cab so I installed a narrow long tank from a 2000..I'm now hooking up a new Precision pump and wanted to see which wire to run to my aftermarket fuel gauge..thank you
Thanks for showing this, my 1994 full size blazer just lost the pump getting it fixed today had the same rusty lines. glad this will be a thing of the past for me.
For my K2500 I should have did all new stainless lines three years ago when I replaced whole tank kit (Spectra -from Rock Auto) . Now conductive to low battery , have to dig at figuring weakened in-tank pump, or clogged filter(yay!-first-LOL!) .....UGH !
Hello and thank you for making that video, out of curiosity what kind of unions were used to connect the copper nickle (3/8) and (5/16) lines to the fuel pump assembly? Also was the a flare(double?) used to connect the copper nickle to the union coming from fuel filter?
Just seeing this that's a question I've gone through three aftermarket ones still no good cut wires in sending unit modified to a2005 five works perfect just cut wires where it goes to the pump and joined 2005 wires from 96 to the 05 and she's runs best kind lol
Why so careful there's this thing called a filter sock that won't let that rust and crud get into the pump, so what if it floats around in the thank. I've never cleaned them just pull out and put in never once had a problem
Thank you made it look easy now I’m ready for my 92 Yukon fuel pump let’s go
how did it end up going
Thanks to the video for it done in like 40 mins no bs first time ever

Wish you would have shown more how you did the lines.
Thank you for allowing me to see the purple line on the fuel pump assembly unit. Now I know where to hook up my new fuel gauge wire.
YES, that's why I'm here!

Use a foot of rubber hose!
It absorbs the flex.
@@easyhangit604 sold it last month $10,500, i was happy

thank, you for you're video.🙏
Dang that is some crazy rust! Looks like cars from Utah 😳
1:00 to 1:11 tapping the lock ring clockwise to remove it? Huh?
Hey bud great video ....question how much it cost the fuel pump and where u get it? Thanks
Same thing I was about to ask, got a 99’ suburban k2500 4x4
Im trying to figure out how do I setup my Overflow line on the pump
That simple really
Where did you get the pump?
I've got a 1989, 1500 GMC 4x4 short bed TRUCK 350 vortec
You need a new tank man. Very rusted. Hope you’re safe
What’s the fuel pump part number?

Probably would be good to sand and treat the rust on the tank before you reinstalled!
This is why I always remove the bed of the truck as dropping the tank risk cracking the lines as they are so short.
I have a truck just like that one
good video, thanks
Might as well get a new tank its rusty
Dude get a brass punch set I got a four pack for only $30 at Tractor supply.
Why not just put an inline fuel pump in the fuel line outside of the fuel tank ?

Ever heard of the Car wash 🤔.
like to wash off the salt and road crap.
Maybe?
Pero si ya bajaste el tanque lo hubieras lavado
😎👍
if I ever have to go THREW this I'm just going to cut a hole in the bed floor.
already done that worked out great 3rd pump 20 min job and im 71 years oid
Say free flowing fuel 5 times fast…lol
Title says ‘88-‘95 and then buddy says at the start of the video “1997”…. What in the blue fuck is going on?!?!! Label your shit properly
