hi Grubby, what addons are you using? In my game version of game i cant see numbers on spells on cooldown, neither icons for shortcuts numbers like you have in 32:00, for example for key 1 you ahve face of farseer, ty for answer :)

I watched all the latest videos so here I am watching 3 year old video that popped up.
Geez.. I was so young and naive when I played wc3. Watching Grubby play and seeing how central Heroes are to being successful in wc3, it's suddenly seems natural that DOTA and basically MOBAs were created after people played wc3

Is competitive warcraft 3 still a thing in 2020?
It has a very prominent scene in China, less so in Eastern Europe, but yes! There are many tournaments being played at the moment, Back2Warcraft does a lot of English language castings for these tournaments, and I'm sure there are others around doing the same.

Man that dude's heroes were pussing me off. Grubby would get them down to like 50 health and they kept escaping
So, how can I play wc3 online as a total newb, without getting crushed without a chance? My guess is that the current player base is mostly veterans and for someone who wants to learn by playing online its overwhelming. I played a lot of Dota1, obviously the wc3 campaign and vs computer but never vs other players. Do I have any chance to improve?
P.S.: I absolutely love your vids Grubby, I understand everything that happens ingame I just lack the practice ;(
Could get someone to practice with often, or a small group. That’s the best way I think.
Yeah it's very hard in the beginning and can be discouraging. I advise you to start with 4v4 and 3v3 you'll have a lot of fun even if you lose and will learn the basics. try to learn the build order for the race you play by watching top players. When you feel more confident go on 1v1 in wc3 champion ladder. You'll lose a lot in the beginning but just try to enjoy and get better dont be too much result oriented.

watch games on your favourite race and learn build orders creep routes and build counters to common meta's. u can learn build order simply vsing bots once you've perfected that u can go on to team games and get a feel for a real world situation then play a few solo games to see how what u need to work on. and remember fight to the very last unit when being a newb ! never give up

BM is viable and is played - thing is BM has weaker harass early - and its all about the 2nd hero - TC or Shadowhunter is stronger than FS/BM but shitty 1. heroes.

I played at original release, and just played for fun with friends. Had ZERO CLUE then that if you killed your own units, it didn't give them xp! Not to brag, but I typically won. Never did ladder, I'd prlly be 4th tier or lower!😆

act check: there actually are orc females in Tolkien books/fantasy, they just were never mentioned because there was no reason to, either they were no different from the male orcs (similar to female dwarf which have beards), HOWEVER, SOME orcs just pop out of the ground, some are a result between crossing goblins with humans (urukhai as an example were goblins and other orc crossed with the men of the north)
@@Humanaut. yes, ofc, however in WC universe there are also female orcs, cus they dont pop out of the ground.
@@thomaskunz3089There are 1.5 orc females in Warcraft Orcs and Humans, the first Warcraft game. There is Garona the half orc, who assassinated King Llane, and there is Griselda, Blackhand's daughter, who gets assassinated by you (Orgrim Doomhammer) on the fourth orc mission.
@@peshekee1 i havent played the warcraft games 1 2 and older ones, only WC3 and WC3 frozen throne, but i trust what you say to be true, i agree and i just ask u one thing, Garona is a half orc, half orc and half what? half draenei? or half human? would be nice if you could play half orcs in world of warcraft, i just wonder why this isnt a playable race yet...
@@thomaskunz3089 I don't know for sure, but it is at least heavily implied in Orcs vs Humans that she is half human. She is in the instruction manual as the narrator of the Orcish backstory and she might have even claimed human heritage, but I don't have the manual on me anymore to confirm. I remember something I read online about it being revealed somehow that she was actually half Draenei. If that is true, I wouldn't consider it a retcon even if she had said she was human, because it could have been a believable mistake to make if she never met her parents.
@@peshekee1 because the Garona we see on the WC movie, she HAS to be half orc half draenei because she came to azeroth with the horde of guldan, she cant possibly half orc half human, she just cant. However she still was able to speak orchisch, and was able to communicate with humans, which then i wonder, how?

@@Humanaut. you can check out the winrates on w3champions. Orc hast actually the best winrates in the grandmaster league. 2nd HU, 3rd UD, 4th NE
