Tsunoda would have 3 p10 finishes and 2 p9 finishes right? So that woul add up to only 7 points, so I don't know how you both got to 14 points

This I feel is definitely a more accurate look on the championship and how some drivers may just be out of the points every week but are consistently putting in good drives without the recognition
I just want competitive racing and championships. Im a Mercedes fan, so Ive enjoyed my fair share of dominance, but even then.....it wasnt "entertaining" racing. Its just not fun watching 1 team win every race and cruise to both championships. 2021 was the most exciting season in years. Ideally a championship with 2/3+ teams competing for wins would be amazing to watch. Just want competitive racing again, and a season where we dont know whoes winning it all after the second race....
Yeah a RedBull, Aston, Mercedes, Ferrari title fight would be amazing

The "no points for fastest lap if you're not in the first 10" is stupid. Give points to back markers too, it makes all the difference to them. While the ones in the top 10 will have points anyways, so why not be just a bit more generous? Plus that leaves unattributed points at the end of the year, which is a shame.
They don't want all back marker teams going on softs to get fastest lap creating all sorts of shenanigans in last few laps...safety,you know...
So instead of Verstappen dominating the standings we would've been Alonso do the exact same thing, with an aggravating factor his lead over 2nd is bigger than verstappens one after round5 of championship
I don't think the analysis of "just move the places up minus RB" is a proper evaluation criteria because you are not taking into account the events of the quali and race that involved RedBull's strategies, interferences, and impacts. I would have preferred hearing a retelling of a race by race "what-if" eliminating the presence of Redbull fully, including what certain details of their involvement caused, and the potential of removing that involvement and the effects that could have at the micro level.
Example: I think you would have had more Mercedes involvement in the podium finishes removing the psychological effect of Max from Lewis's mind and LeClerc would have had to battle more with Lewis potentially, which would put him next to Nando (former world champ) and Lewis (also former world champ) which really puts the pressure on.
It's all pure speculation so why not lean into it more?
Would see Seageant being a better driver tha De Vries even he does drive for Williams. Remember that moment where De Vries scores points and we laugh how Latifi doesn't get point yet.
What about the rest on the first of July, AMR and Mercedes are going to loose depending where they finish on the 30th June
