Pune Station is a super congested junction in India. It has just 6 platforms and does not have any space for expansion. It has to accommodate all trains from North -> South and South -> North + the Pune-Lonavla local trains.

Platform no 2,3 and 6 is being expanded for 24-26 coach train.
Work is started as of October 3 2023 because I just came from Mumbai to Pune by Pragati express and I saw the work was started.
Shayadri mountain range is best to travel during monsoon and winters.
Konkan railway journey also awesome in monsoon

Moazzam bhai while travelling from Pune to Mumbai....train is descending the ghats...hence no bankers....
Aap logon ki information ke liye ek aur ticket range hoti hai jiska Pune to Mumbai ka fare only Rs. 65/- hota hai aur wo category "Unreserved" ki hoti hai. Usme travel karne ka apna mazaa hai kyoki usme per rakhne ki bhi jagah nhi hoti. Mostly students, berozgaar, Khomche waale (snacks sellers) aur poors usi me travel karte hen.
Ek aur baat ye hai, ki ye jo rout abhi aapne dekha jo Pune se Mumbai ka hai wo to British time ka hi hai aur uski tunnels ki inside ki roughness bhi old times ki yaad karaati hai. Also us route ko British time se hi electrified kiya hua hai, so uske electric poles bhi antic type ke hi dikhaai dete hein. Konkan railway route new hai but wo Panvel pe join hota hai.
People do daily Mumbai Pune up-down for job...
By the way - Indian 90 Rupees is 270 Pakistani Rupees . Don’t compare your poor country and currency to India

From Pune to Mumbai there two route hain main line via Pune Karjat Kalyan Thane Dadar Mumbai and one line from Karjat Panvel Thane Dadar Mumbai and Jo Tunnel hain between Krajat to Panvel usame hamesha mitti girati raheti hain aur bahot bada tunnel hain isliye bich main hava ane ke liye ek uper se whole kara ke rakha hain so vaha se pani hota hain & between Lonavala to Karjat there 3 lines ghat session main hain from Lonavala to Karjat onward left side se 1 line jati hain and right side 2 and hamesha right vali 2 line se hi train run hoti hain some time from extreem left jo ye video main hain jaha ek bada tunnel hain and mam ne jaise bola dulhan to such main dulhan vali feeling ka hi engine hain uski khasiyat hain ki woh sirf Mumbai to Pune and Mumbai to Manmad section main use hota hain uska reason bhi isliye hain ki Jab puri India main 25000 volt ke electric line hote te tab mumbai main 1500 wolt ke ke line hoti thi so har train ke engine Pune or Manmad ke bad change hote the aur yeh Engine ka ek side pantograph 1500 wlt ka tha aur ek side ka 25000 volt ka and sab se badi bat Mumbai main kitan bhi Barish hone do .par cool nahi hota jaise hi barish ruki pasina aana shuru hota hain aur uski acchi khasi adat hain hume
