Absolutely. I’ve heard from a few people who have moved or were thinking of moving to Calgary who are of colour, and they mentioned that they were fearful of the whole ‘cowboy’ feel that Calgary has and that it wouldn’t be accepting of them like other major cities in Canada. After they lived here they realized that Calgary was probably one of the friendliest places they’ve lived and were accepted. Hope that helps 🫶 -Jared
