Brothers and Sisters, as it is written in the Gospel of Mark:

And she begged Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. And He said to her, "Let the children be fed first, for it is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." But she answered Him, "Yes, Lord; yet even the dogs under the table eat the children's crumbs." And He said to her, "For this statement you may go your way; the demon has left your daughter." Brothers, that is the difference between the faithful and the Gentiles, even within a nation that did not have faith in Him there are those who indeed love Him. Let me be clear on this point, on who exactly Gentiles are; they are not enemies of the faith and in fact they may even be of Christ like the woman here but perhaps ultimately lack something important. That lack is not a want but a need for The LORD which is where the difference is made, those of the faith have come to understand they need The LORD whereas Gentiles don't, they only want Him and not because of His saving grace but for Him to do something to them. Beloved, we are not the chooser, we are the beggars here before someone who wants us and we need Him. Which is why Our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ has done this for the woman, she may not be of the lineage of Israel and be of a family of pagans but she needed The LORD in her time and in turning to Him was when He wanted her there and gave her love by taking the reproach from her daughter. We need Him most of all and not just in affairs such as this. Brother, repent of sinfulness and be steadfast in faith to Our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ who came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many. Amen and Amen.
