Also, all the funny slice of life comedy is happening to shameless murderers, the villains of the story. The writing is very good
What's the point? Ainz was an endgame level guild with everyone equipped in BiS gear and unique world items. Hell, they even have a vault full of blatant pay to win items.
@@pepethefrog6809 Not really. The guide is more so a reminder and used to teach others. Punitto Moe personally taught Momonga about tactics and everything connected to it. He's literally Momonga's mentor in that field.
It's also kind of funny how Ainz lies to the knight and says how he's immune to bludgeoning attacks, something that he did with Shalltear. Pretty great fight, quite honestly.
Once they get the information gathered from the encounter to someone like fluder, with his vast knowledge, things will start to come together, especially the fact that the queen of the the draconic kingdom can use wild magic. The only thing that might be challenging will be the identity of PDL, but if they use the Hanzos that ijaniya is training to infiltrate the argland council state, mheennnn See source of Dragon scales and skin for high tier scrolls 😂
Imagine Ainz trading the knowledge of wild magic for military support with the draconic kingdom Or he can track down all the children of brightness dragon Lord and make them his subordinates
btw, i mean no disrespect, but ijaniya ain't training hanzos, the hanzos are on lease to ijaniya so that they all can train human spies, which would be lower level but more inconspicuous. hitori did a tl note about it on the release following the one that mentioned this to clarify it, since many brought up the question on how a comparably low level new worlder would go about training npc mercs, who can't gain exp at all to begin with
They are now gonna base their action around the "fact" that they think Ainz is not a big threat, but Albedo is. They're absolutely fucked. I can't wait to see when they start to break down PDL and his dragon pride. How dare he lecture the Sorcerer King on how to be a leader?! LOL
not really. if he get ready for someone with a world item, skills power and tactics, it doesnt really matter whos the threat. a player will make a good plan against every enemy.
However, the Plan of Platinum Dragon Lord had one problem: Resurrection! Players can use revival skills or respawn themselves to their Guild Base. Like what happened to the Eight Greed Kings, they had Cash-Shop Items that allowed them to revive after dying by the hands of many True Dragon Lords. However, the resurrection rings they are in possession of are said to be the inferior version of what Ainz Ooal Gown holds. Each time they die, the items' value drops lower. Moreover, the Eight Greed Kings grew weaker every time they resurrect themselves to combat their foes. This might be due to the revival penalty of YGGDRASIL. So, it doesn't matter if the real Ainz were to die or killed by Platinum Dragon Lord. Ainz had many Resurrection Items and Cash-Shop Items to revive himself or by other NPCs after dying, and Ainz had many of these items in his arsenal or Treasure Floor of Nazarick.
@@justchillin7274 It is confirmed that players can level up in the new world thanks to what Evileye told Climb about the leader of the 13 heroes. He was low level at first, but over their campaign against the Evil Deities, he kept leveling up and growing stronger. He's implied to have been a player who made a new character for the last day of the game, and since he was sent to the new world, it means that he likely transfered his items to said new characters, including a world item (since having one is what determines whether a player or guiildbase is sent to the new world or not).
Oh god, wait.. you’re right. You’re completely right; I completely forgot Ainz mentioned his world item’s functions, and one being very effective against dragons. That is bad. That is very very bad for PDL, oh my. He is screwed in every sense of the word 😂
I'm starting to think that Ainz's race may have a greater hold on his psyche then he realizes. It seems like he is constantly falling into success but I think his human conscious is the driving force for his undead unconscious. So the overlord part of him subtly pushes him into taking the best action even if he himself doesn't realize that's why he's done it.
During the fight between dragonlord and ainz , the way albedo talked to ainz I found it really weird . I thought maybe it just was their translation but I was completely wrong
TLDR Because i think 30 min is too much to explain. Ainz completely foresaw PDL's plan to distract him with Azuth and ambush/assassinate him. To that end he made Pandora's actor take his place to gauge info of his power and give false (not his true power) info to PDL. The plan went perfectly, PDL thinks he fought the real Ainz, and that he was weaker than he really is. At the same time, Ainz made him think that Albedo was the real player and Ainz an NPC due to her having a World Class Item and Pandora's actor didnt (Real Ainz always carries a WC item). All in all, PDL got wrong idea of Ainz's power and even was deceived as to who the real players are. He wrongly thinks he cant beat Ainz with his real body (PS: He doesnt stand a chance).
As Ainz is just a regular player of the game, it's amazing he's able to be so cunning. I mean I play online games and I can't come up with plans like this.. lol
I haven't watched the video, but I'm gonna give my own analysis how the Plantinum Dragon was deceived. I think the one who ruined his plan undeliberately is his assistant Azuth. If he hadn't attackd the death knight at the battle of El Naeurl, Ainz and his subordinates wouldn't have been aware of strong warriors or heroes would be against them during the war. So when Ainz invades the capital, he sets a trap beforehand just in case if some strong opponents show up during their invasion of the capital. So he substitutes his place for Pandar to test his enemy's strength and abilities. As you know Ainz is kind of paranoid. In the end, the Plantinum Dragon Lord took the bait.
Not really. Without Azuth, Ainz wouldn't have placed himself delberately out in the open with very minimal defenses. And since Ainz wasn't vulnerable, PDL would not have found an opportunity to attack. He was only willing to attack because Albedo was drawn away, since he already suspected Ainz to be a player and so near himself in strength. The more people needed to be drawn away, the less likely his plan even starts. Essentially, yes, Azuth is the reason why Ainz set a trap, but conversely, with no trap PDL has no realisitc attack chance, even if we assume he still has Azuth to use as bait.
In a way this all makes Platinum seem pretty stupid when you look at it as such, but in reality he had almost no time at all to prepare much less understand what was going on, with too many conclusions and questions left open. That, or the old players of Ygdrassil that had shown up before were just that stupid that they were taken down out of sheer luck on platinums part, especially I suppose when you consider the fact that they all seperated making themselves open targets due to their own stupidity and general uncaring attitude towards one another. Though I suppose in a way both Platinum and Ainz had the exact same thoughts but Ainz gained tons of information while Platinum gained next to none.
I think the point that you most need to consider is that PDL's reference when thinking about players is fundamentally flawed, and this leads him to be less cautious than he should be. The 8 Greed King's of 500 years before (his 'player' reference) maxed out at level 90 due to being from an earlier iteration of Yddgrasil. This puts then at approxamently the same strength as the most powerful Dragonlords and himself. This means that he doesn't consider players as his superiors (in level), and makes his judgements based upon relative classes and builds; thus giving him a misleading idea of his own strength. Secondly, the Greed Kings were traditional gamers, treating the new world especailly innitially as a game, and so they were fairly straightword battle maniacs. Ainz, by contast, is massively massively cautious to an excessively extreme degree, and is a PvP specialist in thought. So again, PDL is completely destroyed from a psychology perspective, but he was starting from a heavily compromised position to begin with: Ainz knew nothing and knew it, PDL thought he knew most thing through comparason to other "similar" events, not knowing that he was wrong, and not being given the opportunity to find out due to Ainz's nature.
so i have a question... does anyone know if mare collected the millions of exp he got from slaughtering the people of the kingdom in his world class item? avarice and generosity can collect exp. which pretty much mean souls.and because ainz is in an alliance with the draconic kingdom where the princess can have minor knowledge could they use wild magic with the world item? as a battery that equals the power of dragon lords?
I don’t think we’ve actually seen how avarice and generosity is used in the new world, but if they did collect all that exp, I would like the lower level npc of nazarick to get buffed to higher levels.

And they settled in AFTER clearing Nazarick as dungeon. Not only that, he's also a master strategist and the 2nd best PvP player in Yggdrasil given planning, intel, and resources ahead of time. Just look at his fight against Shalltear, Started the fight draining Shalltear's skills, giving her false information (he act tough against fire but act flinched against holy), then gave her surprises in Melee combat, and turns out this melee combat is to buy time for the spell finishes casting. If that's not peak planned fight then i would like to know what is. Famously, Momonga can beat everyone in the guild including himself given planning. seeing Aizn keep stumbling around not knowing what the plan was, we keep forgetting that he is the guild leader of one of the most fearsome guild in Yggdrasil. and he was also the main strategist of their guild, so he is no stranger to large scale and small scale PvP. he just not really good with politic....or is he...maybe we all been fooled by his deception and he is the all knowing god that plan everything from the start.
Ains Ooal Gown wasn't the most feared or even the top Guild in the game for various reasons, but it was one of the higher-ranked ones. I think it was in the top 10 IIRC. It was an unusual guild in that it was highly successful with only a small number of members as well as all members playing non-humanoid classes biased towards Evil, not something most Yggdrasil players would choose when they scoped out their initial character builds. Satoru/Momonga was one of the reasons why Ains Ooal Gown was actually as successful as it was but he doesn't really give himself the credit for that -- he was the janitor, administrator, data collector and general dogsbody of the Guild, often mediating between the other members. He was able to do this in large part because he was not the most powerful or had the highest combat capability of any of the guild members. Top-ranked Players like Touch Me and Bukbukchamaga listened to him and went along with what he suggested rather than brushing him off because they could beat him in PvP without breaking a sweat. That's actually quite an achievement. That skillset has driven his ability to allow Nazarick to survive in the new world -- if a number of Players from the Guild had been transported when the servers shut down rather than just Momonga I expect an Eight Greed Kings-style civil war would have broken out by now.
To me, Ainz is definitely as intelligent as other characters make him out to be, but his intelligence is soo hidden, that even he doesn't know of it. Even with high LUC stats, Ainz has a perfect record for everything he does somehow becoming an interconnected web of actions. I believe he has persona/alter ego in him that secretly manipulates Ainz, we could say that secret persona to be his stats and base existence as an overlord. I would say Ainz is the captain of a boat he can't perfectly control consciously, so he has his 'crew' make small but very consequential decisions on his behalf, ainz leads the direction, the body perfects the action.
Ainz is the prime cast that's why he is the one of strongest character 11 of 24 world items is in under his guild unique weopons and unigue items only few player was been revealed in anime expect of some powerfull player
I was confused about the knowledge of players after reading this volume, so basically were PDL, Azuth and rigrit players or just NPC's who knew about he players?
Pdl and rigrit was friends of a player. Azuth don't know anything, he know only what Pdl said about them. Pdl is a race native to this world, not yggdrasil. His race gone almost extinct after 8 players(8 greed kings) of 500 years ago wrecked them.
@@holow3038 No. Rigrit is a native of the new world. She's not a player. The two players from the 13 heroes ended killing each others for unexplained reasons. I mean tbf he was not wrong about Ainz being a player *here that is*. He got the mark about how this *player *had no world item and Pandora didn't at all give an indication he could summon other things like Ainz does. Thinking Albeto as the player makes senses as lvl wise she is reasonable in range and geared of similar quality of a player. To give credit where it is due PDL like the Princess if they actually met the real Ainz could probably see through his b.s no problem. However as it stands he doesn't want to risk that facade of him go into ruin at the rate of popularity he is accumulating.

Do you know why Overlord stands out against other isekai anime out there?
There is NO power up arcs.
there are some, like brain against cocytus, but it didn't really help brain
@@Zephyr2z sorry for the confusion. I'm referring to MC power up arcs.
Not only that. Mc is op yet not carelrss and stupi like other isekais. Ainz is super cautius and well... Lucky, mostly couse his subordinates are very capable
I think it's good because it subverts the genre a little. Instead of starting with a weak protagonist that gets stronger, we start with an all powerful one with questionable morals. Also, all the funny slice of life comedy is happening to shameless murderers, the villains of the story. The writing is very good
What's the point? Ainz was an endgame level guild with everyone equipped in BiS gear and unique world items.
Hell, they even have a vault full of blatant pay to win items.
Ainz Is Very Good At Deceiving His Enemies And He Is Brilliant At A Strategy Against Players
He's an avid reader of Punitto Moe's PK for Dummies guide after all. LOL

Holy crap bro, great job this was like 5 videos in a week!
What a blessing 😇
It's also kind of funny how Ainz lies to the knight and says how he's immune to bludgeoning attacks, something that he did with Shalltear. Pretty great fight, quite honestly.
Once they get the information gathered from the encounter to someone like fluder, with his vast knowledge, things will start to come together, especially the fact that the queen of the the draconic kingdom can use wild magic.
The only thing that might be challenging will be the identity of PDL, but if they use the Hanzos that ijaniya is training to infiltrate the argland council state, mheennnn
See source of Dragon scales and skin for high tier scrolls 😂
Imagine Ainz trading the knowledge of wild magic for military support with the draconic kingdom
Or he can track down all the children of brightness dragon Lord and make them his subordinates
btw, i mean no disrespect, but ijaniya ain't training hanzos, the hanzos are on lease to ijaniya so that they all can train human spies, which would be lower level but more inconspicuous. hitori did a tl note about it on the release following the one that mentioned this to clarify it, since many brought up the question on how a comparably low level new worlder would go about training npc mercs, who can't gain exp at all to begin with
@@AlanisBored I wondered about that too, but just accepted it like that, thanks for clearing it up

YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED YOUNG MAN. IT IS ALL PART OF AINZ PLAN.
@@satoozy965 This....is....AWESOME!!!
They are now gonna base their action around the "fact" that they think Ainz is not a big threat, but Albedo is. They're absolutely fucked. I can't wait to see when they start to break down PDL and his dragon pride. How dare he lecture the Sorcerer King on how to be a leader?! LOL
@^_^ Sánchez PDL still isn't shit compared to the old dragon lords. He is the strongest Dragon Lord now, but that's it.
not really. if he get ready for someone with a world item, skills power and tactics, it doesnt really matter whos the threat. a player will make a good plan against every enemy.
I still dont understand if they are able to level up, after resurrection, or would it just take a lot of killing or exp gain to level up.
You’re completely right;
I completely forgot Ainz mentioned his world item’s functions, and one being very effective against dragons.
That is bad. That is very very bad for PDL, oh my.
He is screwed in every sense of the word 😂
Ainz is typical friend who got 100 on exam yet he actually being shock to get that score and said that he's not that smart.
PDL was thinking he was the evil mastermind when in reality, he was only a puppet dancing in the palms of the Ainz THE PUPPETMASTER
I m so happy to see this animated after 2-3 years . Worth the wait!
When Ainz begged for his life, you know something was off. And you should think of Pandora's actor.
In an alternate time line ainz did the same thing to gain advantage
This analysis was spot on, thanx for the information I see the fight differently now
TLDR Because i think 30 min is too much to explain.
I mean I play online games and I can't come up with plans like this.. lol
Everyone in Overlord is playing 3D chess and Ains is playing checkers and destroying everyone lol 🤣
This episode just came out it was awesome. Season 4 so far is one of my favorites seasons
You cannot deceive a god of deception.
Bruh
Not also that pdl thought albedo was the yggdrasil player and ainz was the npc
Essentially, yes, Azuth is the reason why Ainz set a trap, but conversely, with no trap PDL has no realisitc attack chance, even if we assume he still has Azuth to use as bait.
albedo thought the armor level 80, shalltear 85 with more combat experience and ainz at 90 whos the most careful. its prob around 85 then
its pandora's actor, not ainz
and now this is animated . and it was awesome!
Though I suppose in a way both Platinum and Ainz had the exact same thoughts but Ainz gained tons of information while Platinum gained next to none.
cant wait for this episode!
When you called the strongest in the world and those pride eating your brain, with your foe being a Gamer... a speedrunner gamer 😂
@@trumandines4160
NPCs don't have EXPs. Their level is fixed.

Big dick.
@@holow3038 Ainz not even PVE?!
Momonga participated in many raid bosses/dungeon. Even Nazarick itself used to be a dungeon before the Ainz Ooal Gown settled in.
But not against Touch Me
Touch Me is stronger not because of his equipment, class, and race. He's strong because of his skill (Skill as in talent, not in game ability). Imagine a real soldier plays a VR shooting game.
How else did he became the World Champion? His armor? That's the reward FOR becoming the World Champion.
@@スガル also touch me is meant for assaulting players while ainz is build for providing support roles in pvp. So of course he couldn’t beat touch me, he was built to support people like touch me, not take them on 1v1
seeing Aizn keep stumbling around not knowing what the plan was, we keep forgetting that he is the guild leader of one of the most fearsome guild in Yggdrasil. and he was also the main strategist of their guild, so he is no stranger to large scale and small scale PvP. he just not really good with politic....or is he...maybe we all been fooled by his deception and he is the all knowing god that plan everything from the start.
Also luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity
I can't wait for season 4 and volume 15
Sassuga overanalyzingeverything ❤
I'm so excited to see Platinum Dragon Lord fight in the next episode 11 of season 4🤩

Yus. Very good. Like a lot.
I was confused about the knowledge of players after reading this volume, so basically were PDL, Azuth and rigrit players or just NPC's who knew about he players?
As far as I know they just know about the existence of "players"
Pdl and rigrit was friends of a player. Azuth don't know anything, he know only what Pdl said about them. Pdl is a race native to this world, not yggdrasil. His race gone almost extinct after 8 players(8 greed kings) of 500 years ago wrecked them.
They are new worlders my dude, rigrit I'm not sure tho maybe an npc
Rigrit is a player ,one of the 13th heros as well as Evileye (Landfall)
@@holow3038 No. Rigrit is a native of the new world. She's not a player. The two players from the 13 heroes ended killing each others for unexplained reasons. (The leader (the one who had made a new character for the day of the game closing down, and thus arrived in the new world low leveled and ended up going from weak to super strong in the new world) killed the other player for unexplained reasons and then killed himself in grief.)

Ainz isalot of stuff but at it’s route he’s a strategist, he single handily kept his guild from going past top 30 guild, maintaining what was once a 41! Person guild.
platinum can be a good raw material for the HAPPY farm
I wonder what would be his reaction if he knows he is fighting against 2 npc's lmao.
I remember seeing something that Ainz might be smart but doesn’t know it because he doesn’t believe in himself and that yeah there’s a lot of coincidences but he’s also doing more than he’s realizing.
Thank you! the credits are now better. But you should still do the patreons thank you shout outs in random order as again, most people do not watch the whole length of the credits.

Ainz has been tricked too, as Riku is a false name.
i think pandora's actor should be a master strategist, and should not have been almost defeated for two main reasons
1 the characters take on the traits of their creators, and ainz is a brilliant pvp-er
2 pandora's actor is said to have inteligence to rival albedo, and demiurge
World items are in essence wild magic given physical form. That is why they make wielder of world item imune to wild magic as it cancels it. I don't understand why the novel constantly belittles Ainz and keeps saying he is below average intelligence. Sure he's not as smart as Demiurge or Albedo but he's pretty smart. Especially in volume 12/13 imo.
Ainz grew up in the dystopic world of 2138, where even basic education was hard to come by and Ainz was just educated enough to be a salerymen without higher education.
