for Rogues it is pretty simple. DK's, not so much. Rogues you just want to trinket either kidney shot or blind. everything else is situational. you wanna ask yourself. do I survive this burst/lockdown or do I need to trinket. this to not take too much. dmg. if they burst do trinket and pop a defensive cd and then get into a spot where you can dmg them and they have trouble dmg you. like at a pillar. never just stun people random. only cc people if you are about to burst their asses down. and don't try to burst people down unless you have already taken their trinket. or have a rogue on your team that can cc for you afterwards. but that is a dps check after that. it is very simple. adapt to what your enemy does. and plan ahead. but don't let your plans be set in stone. adapt all the time.
Here's what I do: 9 different macros target arena 1, 2, 3 bound to mousewheel up, click, and down, respectively focus arena 1, 2, 3 bound to alt mousewheel up, click, and down, respectively target friendly arena 1, 2, 3 bound to shift mousewheel up, click, and down, respectively

For example, if you're playing warrior against lock, mage, healer...usually you'll have the healer set as your focus but if the healer gets away or you can't get close then you might as well set a new focus to one of the other dps to making focus kicking easier
It has been fixed by the community but the owner seems to have abandoned it. If you go to the issues link in curseforge you can find comments with links to the fixed version.

What the pros arent telling regular players is to invest in a razor mouse or specifically a mouse that has extra buttons so you can key bind them and be more efficient instead of relying on crammed keyboard space. This is what pros dont tell regular players while their using expensive mouse with extra buttons
Protip: You don't need as much keyboard space as you think. Shift keys help a lot with this. If you aren't comfortable or feel restricted using shift + the rest of your keyboard, you can simply bind Shift to one of your mouse side buttons (I would suggest the bottom one), so you just need to hold your mouse side button to use shift keybinds. This allows for a lot more freedom compared to using the actual shift key on your keyboard.
Some of the macros are confusing to me how to use them in context and how you integrate them into your bar/keybindings. For instance I don't see flurry, as well there are a few keybindings that have "?" any clarification would be awesome. Thanks. *edit how do you bind your counter spell C1 C2 C3 It won't let me bind it that...how do u do targetting since you use tab?
Not really lol, but yeah practice makes perfect, use something that's comfortable to you as Xaryu said. Maybe the class you're playing isn't fit for you either, I don't know, but you should play what you like, I tried MW monk a few months before prepatch, played 30-40ish arena games, and lost only 3 of those which was pretty insane to me since I don't play much of monk and got to 1900+. So what I'm trying to say is either you're doing something wrong, you're playing the class with keybinds that are not comfortable to you or you just have to practice a bit more, and you should in order to become better, so good luck with that!
Been a clicker since bc, last few years been wanting to get better at pvp but am really struggling to get everything set up. The whole focus/target stuff is confusing for me and im just not sure what I'm doing with my holy priest, going to keep trying though thanks for the help man

why don't you just use TellMeWhen to track DR's? It's so easy to do :-) You might also be able to Track Kicks like you do with OmniBar as it is more customizable if new abilities occur. Also if i might suggest you an amazing addon it's called "CooldownToGo". Basically what this does is popping up a cooldown left text (with icon) on your screen of the ability you just try to press. Other addon that does SO much work in terms of awareness is "Easy Frames" - don't know why Blizz is not using something similar...
Do you know that u can incease the columns number of your first group instead of doing more group in tellmewhen? I think you have 2 group for no reason right here but thats not important.
the old xarui when it was just a notepad file was nice, i like the new one but how would u disable gryphons but not the artbar at buttons? it's not an option on it :( any updates incoming?

This is reason that if we have low setting in game, after that we will have more FPS in game? And do you always play with these setting in game or sometimes you can them change?
For some reason my big debuffs stopped showing the cc timer on my target. I have the cool down count checked in every section. Anyone know why all of a sudden it would stop showing the timer ?
Regarding the Diminish addon... Why isn't it showing me when a target is immune to cc? Isn't that it's purpose? Im so confused. Targeting a dummy right now on my rogue, hit it with 3 cheapshots, and its not giving me any info about the target's DR's.
How do you see arena que timers? I see it on your stream when you que arena that you have a timer to show when you'll run out of time to take the queue.

Here's what I do:
9 different macros
target arena 1, 2, 3 bound to mousewheel up, click, and down, respectively

12 years playing an hour on weekends? Because xar plays 6 hr/day and pika had like 12k arenas in a season I think

What are you doing to sort arena enemy players? I know a lot use sortgroup but it seems oudated with errors. Or do you just go in dynamically.
