You mentioned on the video about a InspireIC1.5 to Peloton resistance conversion chart. I sure can use it. Thanks. BTW, at $299 right now at Costco, it is by far the least expensive bluetooth bike out there. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for such a thorough and hands-on review! We appreciate you taking the time to review the IC1.5. We'd love to send you a swag bag as a thank you for the review!
@@ChesaM99 Hi Heather! This is something we have found that has been an issue and we have fixed it. You can go on our website and ask our support through chat to assist you.
I was so happy to see this review. I bought an Inspire IC.5 from the studio in Anaheim Hills and have been using it for a month. I have not tried any other bikes and hearing your review was very informative. I do love the quiet ride it gives. The classes are great. This is so convenient to have in my home. It is allowing me to get back into Spinning since I have been stuck at home during the pandemic. I did buy a set of Shimano pedals online and upgraded the seat, but everything else was great out of the box. The pedals were simple to change out . I keep looking for a gadget to hold the my dumbells or allow a larger water bottle holder. Once I am clipped into the pedals I hate having to stop to get things out of my reach. I am going to try a tall utility cart to roll over during a long ride or class with arm workouts. Everything else on the bike is right there thanks to the tablet /smart phone holder, but a cart will probably do the trick. I really enjoyed the unboxing and comparison to the Peleton. I still had a desire to try a Peleton but your video showed me I am not missing anything that I can't live without. The huge price tag on that Peleton bike kept me from getting a bike for a year. This was perfect for my budget and one of my favorite instructors from 24 HR fitness is on the Inspire App and I was so surprised. Throw some LED lights up, turn down the lights, crank up the FAN and it's almost as good as being in a Spin class.
I just bought the Inspire 1.5 from my local Costco and I have a question. In the manual you mention about a bluetooth/Ant+ heart rate monitor. Since I happen to have one, I would like to know how do you add the heart rate monitor to the statistics on the app. Cause I fail to see why you mention it in the manual if there is no way to add it to it. Thanks.
Spot-on review. Purchased the Inspire IC1.5 at Costco after watching several of your reviews of indoor cycling bikes. Bike was very easy to assemble and rides exactly as you described. Thanks!
Thanks for the review! You convinced me to keep the Inspire vs. returning it for the Echelon EX4S. Just ordered a tablet to use with the bike and still saved over $200
Between the ProForm CBC from Costco and the IC1.5 I liked the physical resistance knob on the IC1.5 vs the motor on the ProForm bc I figure the motor will die eventually. Between the Echelon Sport/EX15 and the IC1.5 I liked the echelon more bc it's seat was more stable but it only comes with 1 year warranty. The IC1.5 has a 10 year frame, 3 year parts, 1 year labor warranty and the added peace of mind having purchased it from Costco. So I went with the IC1.5 and I'm happy with it so far.
Thanks for the review on this exercise bike. I just saw this bike at a local Costco in Va. for $499 with a $100 off and online @ Costco it's $599 with $100 off. I will be purchasing this bike 2maro after watching this review. My knees are shot do too several knee surgeries and they hurt when I run. So if you are looking to purchase this bike, check your local Costco before ordering online at Costco.
Great review. Picked up this bike a couple of weeks ago and no complaints. Smooth ride and the app has worked well. I'm sure it's not as extensive as the peloton app but if offers more than enough options and the classes definitely give you a good sweat. A comparison chart to peloton would be great for anyone looking to expand off the inspire app
Greetings - #1, love the channel & content - You're my go-to resource for making my first spin bike purchase and have been watching a lot of your videos over the last month or so. #2 - If, or when you make a comparison of this bike versus the Echelon EX-15 (Connect / Sport), you might want to point out that as of a recent update to Echelon's Fitness app, apparently you can no longer do free rides without being bombarded with advertisements or the app completely not functioning correctly, or trying to basically get you to purchase their monthly subscription to achieve ride stats, etc. The app has a very high number of negative reviews as of the last couple weeks. That is a huge purchasing decision for a lot of consumers doing a DIY Peloton bike. I do however, look forward to that comparison video. As a current Costco member, I plan to highly consider this bike (Inspire IC 1.5) as my first bike. Thanks!
It seems the lower end Echelons at Walmart cut back their free service from 6 months on the Connect/Sport to 30 days?? What does the Ex-15 give? The Costco EX4S was on sale at $799 and gives a free year of service normally $999.
I think you should review the concept 2 bike erg because I did a lot a of research recently between spin bikes and the bike erg. I ended up buying the concept 2 bike but I still think it would make a good video, and see how it would measure up to other diy peloton options.
Hey, just put together my new Inspire! I love your videos--they've been very helpful to me. Thanks for helping the rest of us! Anyway, I agree, the pedals don't give adequate support. do you know of any cage-style pedals you can recommend that do give good support? Also, I noticed you can "pause" the stats on the ride and then resume it. Seems like they might have added that feature so you don't lose your data after you stop pedaling.
Hi, because of your video, I bought this on Costco! Awesome and detailed review. I am a starter at indoor cycling. Is it possible for you todo a video related on how to proper adjust this bike? I saw some different posts online so not sure what is really correct. Thanks in advance.
Thank you for this amazing channel! It's pretty sad that lot of your bike can't be found in Europe (wanted the Sunny SF-B1805 but impossible look like)
I was in Costo a few hours ago and notice that they ha more cycling bikes on the warehouse. Your videos have been very helpful to me. I do not want to pay for Peloton with a hefty price tag! And I need to purchase a clip on pedal because I don't like the caged ones. What in door bike do you recommend for an experienced in door and outdoor biker?
@@ChesaM99 Thanks Heather! Does the bike connect to the peloton app on your iPad? Can the peloton app display any of the stats that the bike sends via bluetooth?
Thank you for the review, was looking for a Yesoul S3 review and it looks like the IC1 came from same factory with a different branding, close enough for me 😅
I went to Costco and bought this bike after saw your previous video. The assembly is very easy, and the build quality is good. The seat is a little wobbly though. I tried to connect it to Garmin and strava apps, but couldn't. Is there a way to use it with peloton and zwift?
Hi- thanks for all the bike reviews! I’ve been researching indoor bikes for weeks now. Could you please review the Bowflex Velocore?? It won the 2021 CES Innovation Award and the lean feature seems much smoother and less “clumsy” than the Nordictrack s22i. Would love to hear your thoughts on it, and especially how it compares to the Peloton and Nordicktrack bikes.
Hi, thanks so much for the review, like many I could not get it, costco is out,... What is your thoughts on sunny b1711 specs and prices sound good, your thoughts?
So essentially without the tablet/Bluetooth app connection and the subscription, the bike is practically useless? You can’t read your distance, resistance, or time on the bike?
From all the bikes you have tested. Do you know if any have compatible seat posts w/ the Swchin Airdyne AD6? Need something that is more adjustable for it.

Im enjoying this bike so far but have found the seat post to be wobbly even if you tighten it as much as possible. Any thoughts if this will cause the bike to break down over time?
Jonathan I bought the bike on Friday and had the exact same comment. I am surprised both guys who reviewed this bike didn't notice it. I reached out to the company but of course they only have Monday through Friday hours. I am close to the max weight, so I thought that was the reason why. If the company can't help me I may need to return it to unfortunately. Everhthing else is great, but the seat post is non starter.
As another poster mentioned, if you download the qdomyos-zwift app and contact the developer he can add you to beta testing which will enable your IC1.5 to connect to his app and then ultimately gives you Zwift connectivity. You can run the qdomyos-zwift app on your phone and run the Zwift app on a tablet or vice versa and that will enable your connection from the bike to Zwift. So yes, you can do it through a creative method. I personally have done that and enjoy it quite a bit, but yes you do need two separate mobile devices to do this as one device will connect to your bike, while the other device will connect to the device that is connected to your bike so that it can see the metrics. Odd but true and works well for me.
I just bought this and can't get my tablet or phone to locate it when I use the app. Has anybody else had this issue? I just ordered a new battery in case that's the problem. Which i hope is.
