      Hi Tim,
The Didgeridoo was great. We were just in the right spot, at the right time, it has to happen sometimes.
We are currently on K’gari west coast, taking it easy.😄

Thanks for watching, and the roast did turn out well…….you normally can’t stuff it up to much, unless it’s burnt black😄

Hello you two, a very nice video. Already impressive, these huge old trees. Most of all I envy you two, you have such a great warm weather, lots of sun and clear skies. With us rain, sometimes a little snow, so between - 4 - 5 ° C and a little above zero. Wet cold, gray, rain, just nasty outside. Greetings from Frankfurt and take good care of yourselves.

      Hi Gerold,
We are in a lovely part of Australia, and the weather is currently awesome.
Stay warm and do not drink to many schnapps…..
      Have a great Christmas ,
      Cheers, Katty & Karl

A lovely part of the world that we haven't spent a lot of time in. We have friends that live there and keep promising to head up there to stay with them for a while and explore. This episode has given us a good preview of what we might expect to find there. It looks like the weather was reasonably kind to you too. A didgeridoo performance in the middle of the Australian bush is super-special.
The roast looked good. I liked the camp oven too so we might have to see if we can grab one. It looks to be much more versatile than most.
Pretty sure my mum told me something different about swimming in nature :-)
    Safe travels. A&J

      Gday A&J,
There are a lot of good spots around the Sunshine Coast, hopefully we can show you a few more not so common places. There are some great thing to see and do.
Our mums must be opposites, ha ha….

    Three things,
    1. Another outstanding video, you obviously spend some time on them.
    2. Isn’t it amazing how much light is given off from a full moon? 😵‍💫
    3. Be careful, strong currents flowing around large cracks can cause problems. 🤣

Great to see other parts of the Sunny Coast receiving some attention as well. 👍 Pity it was right at the beginning of the wet. Sometimes those falls are massive as they should be by later in the month after all this rain (late Dec21).
The locals like you to call it Konda-lilla. The other thing to note is that Hunchy Road (Razorback) has signs at both ends indicating the steepness of the grade and its unsuitability for towing vans. mmmmm must've missed those signs! 🙄 Just past each sign there is a turning area so people can go back and take the longer, but more main road up the mountain.
Hunchy used to be called The Hunchy switchback. It was a log-shoot taking cut timber logs from the mountain down to the mill at Hunchy purely by gravity; you know what I mean! 😲
Just further along at Palmwoods is Landershoot (now also a road) which was an even bigger shoot. Apparently, the logs could be heard all across the valley screaming as they whizzed down the shoot under gravity, guided only by a massive wire rope.
The womenfolk knew, when they heard the logs, that their menfolk would be home soon for dinner because the day's tree-felling work had ended. 😁

      Hey ClissaT,
Thanks for the info, especially about the log chutes, that is interesting history. Is there relics left there to see?
We saw no signs on the hill, that’s why we were surprised, but we did turn onto the main road from a small side road, so maybe we were after the sign, or just plain blind 😥
      Thanks for watching 👍

The joys of the isuzu amt, where it wont even shift into first whilst moving as it doesnt have synchros for that gear.

      Gday Derek,
Thanks for your support. We did get new batteries, and went up to the larger 100AH size. We had to modify the battery tray to suit.👍

We have 6x120 W panels, and have just upgraded battery to 600AH.

Great spots and my back door. Not a good idea to feed birds. They can become very bold over time and just attack plates etc.

      Hi Kevvie,
Thanks for watching, and you are correct about the birds. I shouldn’t feed them.🙁
