Great tutorial on the double bladed, light saber spin! I’ll be practising this for an upcoming cosplay contest to greatly improve the stage presence of my Darth Maul Cosplay!
Just discovered your channel yesterday. Very cool techniques you got there (I’ll definitely try them all). Pls keep up the good work, and may the Force be with you.
Here's the conclusion I've come to about spinning bow staffs: Do what ever works for you. Everyone has a different method. If its spinning, you did it.
You said you need to hold the saber by the bottom half of the hilt, not the middle.. isnt that how its actually supposed to be held? Like i remember seeing maul hold it from the middle here and there, but i distinctly remember him holding it the way you do too. Maybe its not common knowledge tho.
Literally just got a lightsaber staff and felt the same way of other tutorials. This was super helpful! Thank you Master Jake!
You’re welcome!
Thanks for the tutorial, this looks way cooler than how It was trying to do it before. Can't wait to defeat my brother with this technique.
Heck yeah
May the force be with you
@@Sharmz1 yuh

No problem 👍
Sorry but my hand can’t spin 360 degrees
Holy crap…
This video’s been up for 3 months and not a single dislike?
You are awesome dude!
The dog in the back 😂
I've been trying to this by watching Ray Park's (aka Darth Maul actor) movement but he's too fast lol. Thanks for this tutorial, padawan Jake.
If we did do the over and under the arm technique with the saber staff, we would all probably end up, accidentally slicing our arms off lol😂
Everyone thinks it is so difficult just from the looks but I mastered it in like 2 minutes
Thank you
Thanks that helps. Do you think you could do a tutorial on how to do the full behind the back with the dual blade. Is it very similar to the OB Ani
As in the full back pass?
Can you do tutorials with the curved lightsaber like dookus? been having a hard time finding someone who does it. its my favorite saber
1:41 then 3:42
Thanks for the video will be subbing :-)
How about machine a coupler that puts the two together they will make it longer in between
Hey which swords are you using? Solo and double Saber?
This helped so much!!
whats the length of those lightsaber ( blad mean( like 36 32 38 inch))
I learned all of your tutorials and still end up with very hurt knuckles when I duel my friend, it is very easy to hit someone’s hands
It is indeed. I often wear gloves like these when I duel my friend: www.jllsabers.com/product-page/armored-saber-training-gloves

i started off with staff
What is a good size for me. I’m 172 cm tall
I am doing this with a stick
What’s the lightsaber you used?

Depends on the move you’re doing, all grips are used in different situations

Thanks!
