There a decent saw to be used once or twice a year or something. But definitely not for everyday use. Most all the small chainsaws regardless of Brand name only have a durability period of 50 hours. There is usually a sticker on the saw that tells this. Will say durability period 50 hours.

I bought one yesterday at a police auction and unfortunately it doesn't prime/bulb not filling up, i fix all my equipment my self, i do would appreciate a hint on where to start got a tree trimming job scheduled for tomorrow. 👍 ty upfront and God Bless Ps just opened it up, spark plug is missing, it's a e series 235 what type of plug do i need? As well I've noticed one of the lines was faulty/torn...will replace that
HELLOOOOO GOOD NEWS... I /WE FIGURED OUT WHY MY 365SP WOULD NOT START. YOU HELPED ME BIG TIME...!!!! Here's the story: Yes it was vacuum related... The mating surface between the carburetor and the intake boot....this WAS NO MATING AND NOT SEALING. I mentioned that I was suspicious of this sealing surface, and I had put a gasket in behind the lip of the intake boot in order to give more squash on the rubber MATING surface...did ONLY this...and NO DIFFERENT...WOULD NOT START. Pulse vacuum from crankcase was GOOD. THE METAL RING INSIDE THE INTAKE BOOT....where carburetor mates with intake boot...WAS PREVENTING THE CARBURETOR TO SEAL ... GO FIGURE... what triggered this was, when I sprayed carb cleaner into carburetor....it was leaking from the bottom of that sealing surface 😳 Woweee Hugh learning curve for me BUT I DID WANT TO THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND ADVICE/ COACHING CHEERS BERNIE
I wonder if you can help me. I have a husqvarna 365sp...it fires...then dies. Saw has good compression, cylinder and piston good...Replaced carb (gave up on old one), fuel/pulse lines/filter, good spark tested both with plug in/out .. ignition coil good/testing good. Replaced crank seals... Pressure tested...NO LEAKS... Again...saw fires ... then dies Any thoughts
There are several things it could be, but looks like you have covered most of them. The only thing I can think of you haven't replaced is the Intake Boot. This will allow saw to suck Air instead of fuel out of Carb. Intake boot is behind Carb and Plastic piece. Rubber boot between Intake on Cylinder and Carb.

Don't give a damn about these people! I really enjoy your input and the knowledge of 30 years of experience in doing this, that i can just watch and absorb and learn for free! Thank you Sir for putting in the effort. Those people who complain because they can't get it right and try to blame others for it just don't have what it takes to be a mechanic 🧰 In my opinion if you want to be a successful mechanic you need to be open minded and passionate about what you do and learn from mistakes. No not necessarily..It just means life expectancy. It can always be fixed unless it gets to the point of cost more to fix than buy a new one

@@sartingarage8045 120 psi could be a little low...but, throw some fuel in cylinder and comes up 15 psi

The trick on TH-cam is to simply change the playback speed to 1.75X speed.
