Appreciate the comment thanks very much. For the mixing head it’s really simple to clean. I have a jar of acetone that I drop in and put it on one cycle to strip all the resin and then put the acetone back in the jar. Hope that helps and thanks for watching. 😊😊
Beautiful! On another u tube channel the people paint cars with "hyper shift paint". The results are stunning. They use a powder pigment. Could you use it in resin? Just a thought.

Fantastic bowl. I really like the shell effect in between the wood pieces. That looks really cool with the color of the resin. Was the other bowl that you hot glue the wood to hard to get off? or did you just cut it off?

I would love this pice as a sink vessel with black floating faucet coming out of the wall against african blackwood . This bath would need a lot a natural lighting to showcase this focal point .
Hi William and thanks for the comment. A sink vessel would be pretty cool and potentially could be done that’s for sure. It would take some doing to make a mold big enough but it’s completely feasible that’s for sure. Thanks for watching. 👍👍
Very creative way to use scrap. It turned out phenomenally beautiful. I guess my question would be is this a decorative only bowl or could you eat out of it? Would it be safe for say soups or cereal? Could it be put in the microwave?
@@rockyroad3130 thanks very much, appreciate the comment. It’s flood coated so safe for liquids so good for cereal but it’s not going to be good for hot stuff like soup. You’d be stuffed with a bowl of cereal from this as it’s quite big!! Cheers for the message pal. 👍👍

As for the resin, main pour is done with Let’s Resin Deep Pour, the flood coat is done with coating resin as deep cast wouldn’t cure very well. I’ve been using Let’s Resin tabletop epoxy recently and having really good results for flood coating. Hope that helps and thanks for watching. 😊
Thanks very much, as for the beer I’m always asked how many coats and how long between. The answer is beer 😊. Spray a coat, have a beer and once it’s done spray another. As soon as you’ve had too many and it becomes a chore then your work is done 😊. Thanks for watching. 👍👍
Thanks very much and I’m glad you found it too 😊😊. The polish is a liquid compound, the stuff I’m using in this is Roar 900 but there’s plenty of 3M equivalents. I’m presuming you’re from the US pal so not quite sure how to point you in the right direction with regards to links. As for the buffing pads, these are just cheap Amazon hook and loop foam pads. Hope that helps. 😊

Whilst I'd hate to sound critical of the finish, it could be improved tremendously by using Greene King IPA or maybe a Shepherd Neame Spitfire in place of the lager. 😉

@@Brandon-xp1ob 😂 no worries. It’s a pressure pot pal and compresses any bubbles in the resin so they can’t be seen. I pressurise to 55 psi. Hope that helps. 👍👍

Fairy certain I epoxy coated, cut it back and gloss lacquered, then polished. Hope that helps and thanks for watching. 😊
