Also, everyone wants to talk about the mystery of Scare Bear and no one wants to talk about the potential Orb style mystery hidden in the show like the Rusty Venture Cartoon.
I like the theory of the monarch not actually being Rusty’s brother but a clone because couldn’t get the monarch’s mother pregnant the normal way let’s say she had no eggs so he used his experimental cloning vat of rusty and the monarch’s mother dna. If you go back to when dean talks to the doctor that lived in their back yard a lot of the things he mentions when examining dean a lot of the could be compared to the look/emotional swings of the monarch. Though I doubt they would go there being they only have a movie to wrap what they want to wrap up.
Ben the dude who lives in the that old house with helper model 2 (red helper) goes through a clone defect checklist on Dean while Dean ‘a waking up and he specifically says no sign of the “scientific name” for huge eyebrows. Bigass Eyebrows are a clone defect.
Jonas senior had “powerful science” when he said he’d help the monarchs dad. Which we all assumed was his junk, but now he meant cloning. Jonas Tested early clone tech with his friend’s kid first to work out the defects. Hence Monarch has the clone defect of Bigass Eyebrows.
Rocco. It's Rocco. Who else would know of Sireena's whereabouts? He ensures Hank's safety but doesn't care enough to patch him up. His build is right, his character isn't involved with time travel, picking sides, or returning from the dead, in fact he may be recently unemployed and freelancing. He knows what she's been doing behind Hank's back and revealing it to him in such a dramatic way would be the ultimate payback/gotchya
Well, as far as the boy's mother is concerned. the movie's post-credit scene answers that. But if there was a "bad batch" Dean that survived, why not a Hank one as well?
It could be just modern Hank as well, him carrying him to Deans could have just been a concussion dream from Hank. The other times could have been Hank in his darker persona.
I still think The Scare Bear has to be Jared the knock off Spider-Dude. He's probably unhinged from all the disrespect he's received from society and once he saw Serena and Deen, he figured ' somebodies gotta tell him'. Plus, whats the best way to get back at an EX than exposing them?Take that Serena!
Scare Bear is Sergeant hatred. My theory is that after playing second fiddle to Brock he kinda crept back into being a villain but still cares about the ventures because they took him in when he got divorced. I think that he showed Hank that his gf was cheating because he knew how much pain princess tiny feet caused him when she cheated. Plus when we first see him he was in New York with Rusty
Hank is also shown to be strangely competent at a lot of things. Not just as The Bat, but also as Hank, as seen in the episode where he easily deals with all of Hunter and Sphinx's distractions to try and keep him out of their hair. I could totally see him being Scare Bear. IMO, Scare Bear has to be either Hank or Dean. They seem to be setting Scare Bear up to be very important, and I just can't imagine it being anyone other then one of the Venture Bros.
I remember Sovereign Bowie told once: "I am just a man who wanted to be someone else". I guess it has something to do with his shappeshif power but... couldn't be Hank who has surpased his custome powers and become a shapeshifter? Sovereign Bowie also said that Dean was the older brother so he was the Sovereign therefore Hank should be his heroic arch. The time machine was in the Guild so what if Hank arrived to the Guild using the time machine, took Bowie's form and tried to destroy the Guild from the inside but resulted injured in the lake so he can no longer shapeshif and uses the bear custome to hide his appareance. Showing the truth about Dean and his girlfriend to his former self is a way to preserve his future brother rivality. Just a guess XD
Scare bear is Hank. He used Grover Cleveland's time machine to go back in time a few years. He has been living in New York to avoid meeting his past self, he is freaked out that he might mess up the timeline. Hank was there at the Revenge Society to meet Dean and not audition. He wanted to talk to him but he screwed that up by hyperventilating in the costume. The reason for the bear costume is that he needed to avoid being seen by anyone who recognize him. Hank visited the college and steals a bear costume from the mascot changing room to sneak away when Dean visits the college. The "blood" stains is actually pizza sauce. Dean got his old pizza delivery job to make a living and uses the costume to deliver pizzas to the revenge society meeting. The "bloody" knife is sauce from Hank carving up pizza for those waiting to be interviewed. Hank is just doing his classic costume crazy behavior. He ends up just socially engineering himself into the Guild and stays with them to prepare to Arch Dean. However after meeting the guild members and hanging out with them he reflects on his life and forgives Dean.
$5 says it's Jonas Venture Sr.'s brother--he's the only venture we haven't seen with a brother and is either trying to either stop or jump-start Hank + Dean turning into the next generation's Rusty + Monarch
I believe in the art book they already explained who scare bear was he was a ex member of that Legion of Doom art group who wanted to get revenge on them
Guys I think I figured it out its all in the chips the brand is called el tito meaning uncle think about it it was so out of place for the scene even as a gag what does it do to move the story forward anyway thats something I just picked up on
Yeah, I gotta admit...this does raise some questions. But It's definately not JJ and the build doesn't fit Malcome. (Though the suit could be hiding it. With this is him trying to kickstart his nephew's own Villain career.)
Personally, I always had the feeling that Hank would eventually join the costumed life, on one side of the line or the other. (Probably villain, like you said its been foreshadowed multiple times.) And that Dean would either become his arch, following in Doc's foosteps but would actually be ethical. (If not sucsessful.) Or like you suggest, just not get involved with that lifestyle at all. Which is do think is more likely. God-DAMN I love this story!
Actually, if Hank became a villain and Dean got into science like his dad, it would make sense for Hank to arch Dean. The dynamic of them being brothers would be an amazing story for the Guild and OSI to follow and the two of them would not actually threaten each other, they's just be playing games like old times. Hank would get to be an antagonist and have all the adventures he could ever want with his brother, and Dean would be able to conduct his science research in relative peace since his 'arch-nemesis' wouldn't actually be trying to kill him, sabotage him or steal from him. Since Dean would have an assigned antagonist, he would be safe from other villains who would actually cause harm. It would be perfect for both of them.
I think the Killinger theory has some credence; between Hank and Dean, Hank is the one most likely to embrace the life of villainy, especially with his "Enrico Matassa" persona. Delivering Hank to Dean and Sirena may have been meant to motivate some desire for revenge or whatever to start him down that path of villainy, but Scare Bear does not seem that especially competent, and may have just totally disregarded the fact that Hank was obviously concussed, and not able to properly process what was happening. Scare Bear also shows up at points when Killinger would have an interest, like the formation of the Revenge Society; Scare Bear may have been his agent trying to help the RS without Killinger himself getting involved (somewhat aligning with his stance vs the Investors). Doom Factory may have been clients of Killinger as "new age" villains who take a more laid-back and enlightened approach to villainy, and that seems like something Killinger would facilitate. IDK, I just don't think it would be a lazy explaination, but I'm not invested in the theory either.
I do really like your theory and I’m curious if there’s been any word about the movie being affected by the whole HBO shit show going on at wonder Brothers
Hey that's kinda what I thought. My theories were either the first Hank clone which didn't actually die and lived in hiding or it was a clone of Jonas senior. A third a less likely theory would be the Sovereign (perhaps he survived). This is still one of the best shows out there!
Could Scare Bear be Old Ben? We don’t know much about his potential connections with villainy. He was “away” the last time Dean visited in the treaty episode.
Very nice theory. My only hangups is I believe you're trying a little too hard at times in this video to explain everything, since a psychotic serial killer type deal wouldn't always have a rhyme or reasoning to their motives or actions that always can be explained. They kinda just do shit. I'm confident in sticking to it being the original hank, but I'm not losing sleep if it just turns out to just be an actual random serial killer. Or if the movie doesn't address it since I don't think narratively it matters much. If it was a random serial killer maybe it was all to show and subtly address how the guild reacts to or treats these type of people. We don't really see killers like this in the guild, sure they're villains but it's taken very literally and unionized.
7:16 the venture bros does indeed do lazy! we spent a long time wondering why then-Dr Girlfriend has such a gravelly voice... and in "home is where the hate is", we discover she's just a heavy smoker.
I definitely think it's a version of Hank. Wether it's a future variation, alternate reality variant or a clone/original or whatever has yet to be seen.
I always thought that Scare Bear was Hank and Dean's mum. But the theory that they are the original Hank prior to cloning makes complete sense. However, Grover Cleveland's time machine could be a Chekhov's gun for cloned Hank time travelling to save himself. I reckon it is Hank in some form or other.
Maybe its a Brok clone that isn't full developed. Then "our Brok" finds out he's not the original. He's the second clone except he's a prefect copy. Remember the sudden personality change in Brok from episode one on wards? That was the original.
What about Ben, the geneticist from "A Very Venture Halloween?" He has an interest in the Venture Brothers, is suitably weird, has the correct body build, is independent of any theme or storyline, has his own resources, and doesn't need any extraneous explanation such as a time machine. Given a lack of evidence, data, or clues for a specific character to fill the role of Scare Bear, my vote is for Ben.
The antagonist in Forecast Manufacturer, the head of the Peril Partnership, and he who plays Dive Bomb with 21 and The Monarch, his character is modelled after the original design of Brock's brother. From the Go Team Venture! mega-book, The Art and Making of, The Venture Bros. What is this comment, like 9 months later? Only crazy people like me are obsessed. (I think Scare Bear is a stalker of super scientists, or perhaps the Venture Bros)
Plot twist, Hank ends the movie a super scientist of his own right and we close on him inventing time travel. Hank has exactly the sort of, erm, creativity that today's super science lacks. Scare bear could be 21. Why was 21 wearing a bear suit you ask, because he's a nerd and nerds are weird.
Your scare bear is Hank theory is on the money. Think fight club. Two personalities existing side by side. Yea, scare bear carried Hank around but it was really Hank just walking.
The idea that it could be rocko isn't actually that far fetched y'know. He has a vested interest in seeing Serena not be messing around. And already has met Hank multiple times, gets on with Brock... I don't know man, It Could be.
My money is on Scare Bear either being non-talking helper unit with legs, or a probably heavily burned but still alive henchman 24. Yes henchman 21 was hit with a flaming head after 24 apparently blew up, but the compound was littered with henchmen bodies. Heck, he could have faked his own death and the whole seatbelt thing was a ruse. Maybe he's even a secret OSI agent. Either way him being alive would explain why Orpheus couldn't see his ghost.
Also I guess the Scare Bear could be Hank. But rather than the time travel theory, it could just be one of the original Hanks. Could be Hank prime, or one of the first clones that possibly didn't die but survived and grew up outside the crazy Venture world.
16:48 The crazy part to add on to this real quick is that I had no idea about this I knew that there were clones but it’s been some time since I watched The venture Brothers but I didn’t know that doc drove his wife away or any of that shit I just thought his wife was just a psychopath so this is all just groundbreaking to me
Scare Bear is Brock Samson's sperated at birth twin brother. I've really got no idea but the "evil" twin idea has been used before in the series. Edit: no not the brother that was previously mentioned in the series.
Once again i am posting my wild Scare Bear theory! After all your videos and any other on SB i can find my answer hasnt changed - Future Dermott. Why Hank actually dies jumping into the snow bank Dean blames himself & turns into the insane hobo from their jog How Dermott uses his OSI and Venture family connections to get the time machine
*in reference to the cloning - there was mention of Rusty being a clone himself. Most likely was his fathers cloning facility (like everything else ). As for the theory I’m down with the Hank, still keep hearing Dermotts dumb voice saying.”I was totally a double agent duh” . He is the unacknowledged bastard which in comics is a common as a mother fucker trope. Enjoyed videos, funny shit keep at it.
I personally think its going to be an anti-twist like the Orb being broken and Scare-Bear will just die, and turn out to be some guy no one knows when unmasked posthumously can we talk about how weird Scare-Bear's head is judging by the location of the eyeholes and an approximation of where the neck is? long fucking face.
Also according to the movie as we now know - they always were clones (just like Rusty himself) creating in lab in artificial womb and they never had a mother.
Just one little thing here, not sure if it's significant. Brock is one of the only male characters in the show with clearly aqua eyes. As you said scarebear has black eyes. A note is that dermott has the same one eye squinted as scarebear and also is Hank's friend and would look over hank as a person who an outcast like him made a significant connection with. Also carries a knife like Brock because he idolizes Brock after the yard sale episode. Not an expert, just an analyst, do what you want with this information. Let me know what you think?
@@ClaymoreGamezRusty’s Day Camp, and I originally thought Brock, now you have me thinking Dermott. BUT, whoever it is, must be a time traveller, maybe OSI Dermott fixing the timeline behind Doc and Billy, the costume and lack of talking is to keep the timeline mostly intact, even if he’s going rogue to help his friend.
It's Dermot! It's his OSI undercover villain persona. He procrastinated and just put on a dirty bear costume he had from some prank. And it worked! Hunter is beside themself with mirth and annoyance.
we have seen dean loose his shit a few times, i think that his drive to not be part of "that life" might drive him to become a bud guy, idk i always just kinda assumed dean was gonna be a bad guy and hank was gonna become crazy flamboyant hero
Scare bear is secretly one of Hanks flushed clones. (Similar to the episode with Deans clone who tried collecting the others parts to look perfect for Dr Venture.)
We already know who opened the bay doors during movie night on Gargantua-1. It was Vendata, not Manstrong. It was revealed in The Venture Bros. & The Curse Of The Haunted Problem (season 7, ep. 1).
Jonas in season 7 accused him of the massacre but Vendata never confirmed it, He just said "I...I..." before cutting to the next scene. It was someone else.
I just assume its like an unknown clone of Hank, similar to Dean's malformed clone, Rusty himself says that Hank is the one who embraces the lifestyle, who does crazy shit, runs away, and dean is the reclusive one similar to his childself, so a Hank that was presumed dead learns that he is a clone (and just as the real hank thought it was cool), he saw it as an opportunity to be a new person on his own, he could be wearing the costume to not shock Hank, or he might be going through a Hank costume phase 💀
@@hue_jazz59 Brock is built like Jonas, head shaped like Jonas, same nose as Jonas, hairline like Jonas and he doesn’t know who is father is! Me thinks Brock’s mom might have met Jonas one night!
A time traveller makes the most sense, the costume and not revealing your voice is to preserve the timeline. And Dean may not be about that mad scientist life, but neither was Doc! He pushed against it in college episodes, and says he wasn’t cut out for superscience in another.
I lowkey think its a wonderboy brought back from the dead with necromancy/super science, mirroring the Red Hood story line. Orrr, and I'm just going to throw this out there, what if its Zeus, the literal God Zeus, all pissed off that no one cares about Zeus anymore

You win for the closest guess!
Rocco.
Plus, whats the best way to get back at an EX than exposing them?Take that Serena!
i had a stupid thought, what about gary doing undercover stuff. i dont remember scare bear killing anyone.
Scare bear is brick frog, I don't know how or why but he just is.
I have always thought that he was the brock from another time period that got abandoned in the arctic at the end of escape from the house of mummies
Scare Bear has brown eyes, Brock has blue eyes.
Wow...thats one hell of a guess.
I mean, I don't have anything better sooo...
Their mascot is a beaver though.
$5 says it's Jonas Venture Sr.'s brother--he's the only venture we haven't seen with a brother and is either trying to either stop or jump-start Hank + Dean turning into the next generation's Rusty + Monarch
I believe in the art book they already explained who scare bear was he was a ex member of that Legion of Doom art group who wanted to get revenge on them
Strange, they must have neglected to mention SB during Doom Factory's rolecall

Guys I think I figured it out its all in the chips the brand is called el tito meaning uncle think about it it was so out of place for the scene even as a gag what does it do to move the story forward anyway thats something I just picked up on
this
Yeah, I gotta admit...this does raise some questions.
But It's definately not JJ and the build doesn't fit Malcome. (Though the suit could be hiding it. With this is him trying to kickstart his nephew's own Villain career.)
I started this video thinking that costume was dumb and left it thinking it was terrifying
Personally, I always had the feeling that Hank would eventually join the costumed life, on one side of the line or the other. (Probably villain, like you said its been foreshadowed multiple times.)
And that Dean would either become his arch, following in Doc's foosteps but would actually be ethical.
I havn't personally heard anything, but im slow on the uptake, I hope not :(((
Hey that's kinda what I thought. My theories were either the first Hank clone which didn't actually die and lived in hiding or it was a clone of Jonas senior. A third a less likely theory would be the Sovereign (perhaps he survived). This is still one of the best shows out there!
Dean becoming rusty and hank becoming the monarch would be so perfect
Could Scare Bear be Old Ben? We don’t know much about his potential connections with villainy. He was “away” the last time Dean visited in the treaty episode.
That... Could actually fit.
Since I saw the episode of Scar Bear saving hank I always thought it was Hank.
I think Manstrong is responsible for venting the space station when he was a kid. I think he somehow saw the sex tape and freaked out.
Its Hank using Grover Cleveland's Presidential time machine visiting himself back in time. Not a clone of hank, but the same hank
Aaaand none of this was answered in the movie, big oofs. Still think he is Ook Ook though.
I just wish they do one more session to give us fans the answers
Have you seen their new movie they just released yet?
I support this idea with my palms
Your scare bear is Hank theory is on the money. Think fight club. Two personalities existing side by side. Yea, scare bear carried Hank around but it was really Hank just walking.
I think it might be one of Wide Wale's whale lice body guards or even Rocco
Could be Hank prime, or one of the first clones that possibly didn't die but survived and grew up outside the crazy Venture world.
the whole pun of scare bear is care bear, he's a scary looking dude taken as a villain but he is really just a nice caring guy.
It's worth mentioning: *He looks like he's holding **_Brock's_** knife!*
16:48 The crazy part to add on to this real quick is that I had no idea about this I knew that there were clones but it’s been some time since I watched The venture Brothers but I didn’t know that doc drove his wife away or any of that shit I just thought his wife was just a psychopath so this is all just groundbreaking to me
If it was dean I would think he’d rather go back in time to stop himself than just make a reveal to hank.
Scare Bear is Brock Samson's sperated at birth twin brother. I've really got no idea but the "evil" twin idea has been used before in the series.
Edit: no not the brother that was previously mentioned in the series.
A separate evil twin brother whatttt
either the the original hank or another clone that escaped because of the whole taking Hank to his brother is something he would do.
The scare bear is a Scooby and scrappy Doo monster. From season 1
Oh shit you’re back, welcome back
Glad to be here
Once again i am posting my wild Scare Bear theory! After all your videos and any other on SB i can find my answer hasnt changed - Future Dermott.
Why
Hank actually dies jumping into the snow bank
Dean blames himself & turns into the insane hobo from their jog
How
Dermott uses his OSI and Venture family connections to get the time machine
Or it could be Dean, it would fit nicely with him becoming more of a villian and trying to redeem himself.
I figued it was brick frog
*in reference to the cloning - there was mention of Rusty being a clone himself. Most likely was his fathers cloning facility (like everything else ).
As for the theory I’m down with the Hank, still keep hearing Dermotts dumb voice saying.”I was totally a double agent duh” . He is the unacknowledged bastard which in comics is a common as a mother fucker trope. Enjoyed videos, funny shit keep at it.
I personally think its going to be an anti-twist like the Orb being broken and Scare-Bear will just die, and turn out to be some guy no one knows when unmasked posthumously
can we talk about how weird Scare-Bear's head is judging by the location of the eyeholes and an approximation of where the neck is? long fucking face.
Let me know what you think?
addendum: was it the yard sale episode or the summer camp on venture compound episode? I cant remember
I could get down wit hthis original hank idea.
It's Dermot! It's his OSI undercover villain persona. He procrastinated and just put on a dirty bear costume he had from some prank. And it worked! Hunter is beside themself with mirth and annoyance.
Gonna do a update?
prolly not lmao they didnt address it at all
@@newfoxclan7383 fair enough
something certain is that he 100% was stalking dean and hank since he knew where dean was and pretty much immediately helps hank
we have seen dean loose his shit a few times, i think that his drive to not be part of "that life" might drive him to become a bud guy, idk i always just kinda assumed dean was gonna be a bad guy and hank was gonna become crazy flamboyant hero
Scare Bear was at the fear factory!!!! He was in the background when the Andy Warhol villain arches venture and makes a party to steal his stuff.
Scare bear is hanks spilt personality like in fight club, when ak flips he becomes scare bear
What about scare bear being multiple people. I have no idea honestly.
What if Scare Bear is a Brock Clone.
I just assume its like an unknown clone of Hank, similar to Dean's malformed clone, Rusty himself says that Hank is the one who embraces the lifestyle, who does crazy shit, runs away, and dean is the reclusive one similar to his childself, so a Hank that was presumed dead learns that he is a clone (and just as the real hank thought it was cool), he saw it as an opportunity to be a new person on his own, he could be wearing the costume to not shock Hank, or he might be going through a Hank costume phase 💀
suck that we never found out who he was
going to miss this show
so many good jokes
The Venture bros have always been Doc, Brock and Monarch.
Brock is not a venture
@@hue_jazz59 Brock is built like Jonas, head shaped like Jonas, same nose as Jonas, hairline like Jonas and he doesn’t know who is father is! Me thinks Brock’s mom might have met Jonas one night!

But I think it's coincidence. I belive it refers to the Cain and Able dynamic and the boys.
Loving the videos!
You need to put the crack down yourself and go watch the audio commentary for "It Happening One Night".
It’s a older hank clone!! There was a scene when they were talking about how many clones there had been when it shows a clip of only Dean dying..
Orrr, and I'm just going to throw this out there, what if its Zeus, the literal God Zeus, all pissed off that no one cares about Zeus anymore
watching this video post movie breaks my heart. The movie in general as a finale totally breaks my heart :(
He is definitely a Henchman 24 clone from the future of an alternate dimension 😂
