it would not surprise me if a potential fan avoided the show after watching this vid. you both managed to spoil season six and make the show sound lame.
The Monarch was based on the musician Voltaire. Also, JG Thirlwell is the primary creative driver behind the band Foetus, who are hugely influential in the Industrial music scene.
I think level 8 clearance means Brock is clear to face theats up to level 8. The Guild of Calamitous Intent ranks their villains 1-10. OSI probably works the same way. Brock was most likely promoted to level 10 clearance after Hunter Gathers took control of the OSI.
Fact #108: In the episode Hate Floats (S02E02) Henchmen 21 & 24 sing a song when they're preparing to rejoin The Monarch. This song is actually a movement called Mars, from an orchestral suite called The Planets by Gustav Holst. This song was used in the trailer for the 1984 film Greystroke starring Christopher Lambert Fact #109: Christopher Lambert is revealed to be one of Dr. Venture's idols.
All you did was reference things that were in the actual series. If you're too lazy to research a series more thoroughly, then don't make a video about it.
Fun Fact: The Venture Compound is located in Colorado Springs. In the 1st episode, if you read the newspaper that has Rusty on it, it says that the facility is located in Colorado Springs.
So the majority of these facts are just obvious plot points that anyone who watches the series would know What an awful, padded, ad riddled series you have here.
When you say "Venture Brother Facts" I expect to hear facts about the show, not little quiznotes talking about the creators other projects and things not relating to the show.
Dermott was never told he was Brock kid his mom aka his grandma gave him a key to the venture compound and said your dad lives there, but he thought Brock was his dad
You can tell when Patrick Warburton did someone because his voice is insanely unique. Same with Vasquez on Tales from the Borderlands. He always just uses that voice.
7:23 Brock: "You know Doc, would it be the worst thing in the world if you...told the boys who their real mother was?" Dr.Venture: [scoffs] "My father never told ME, screw'em!"
+Alistar Wormwood Are these videos for people who watched the show, or people who didnt? Because I knew like 90% of these and it's too spoilery for someone who hasn't seen it.
+Alistar Wormwood Some aren't even facts, they're assumptions. Here's another surprising fact for you: the Scooby Doo parody episode is a parody of Scooby Doo!
It's not Colonel Gentleman that first mentions the strange funerary ritual for team Venture. It's The Action Man who mentions it to Hank in season 5 episode 8
To clarify on number 43: The OSI is a parody of SHIELD, when they became SPHINX, then they became a parody of GI JOE A Real American Hero. Love your lists, keep it up!
Building on the Supernatural connection between Venture Bros and Supernatural, Supernatural also has an episode called "Are you there God? It's me Dean Winchester".
I still remember watching the first episode of The Venture Bros in 2003. I cannot express how much I love this show and how sad I am now that it's over.
Ah yes, the TF2 cosmetics. Even when I was dirt poor I managed to scrounge up some shekels to get "Brock's Locks" for Heavy. Worth every penny I could've spent on stuff IRL.
No mention of Dr Orpheus being based HEAVILY on Dr Strange? Did I miss that? I swear I was looking for it the whole time ... so here ... #108: Dr Orpheus is HEAVILY based on the Marvel character "Dr. Strange"
Best. Show. Ever. I love how the Adult Swim website is in a permanent marathon of the series. When I don't know what to watch, I just tune up. (Also, I made a pseudo-analysis of the series in my channel. Shameless self promoting, out!)
The Fact about the Venture Bros. mother is inaccurate. Myra is Hank and Deans mother. Dr. Venture didn't hire her for the free babysitting, she was his body guard. Before Brock Myra was tasked to protect Dr. Venture, and during her assignment she feel in love with him. Venture admits later in the episode that he did have sex with her in the back of his car, which is why the Oni was following him around.
+Luis Sotelo She isn't their real mother, though. She reveals this in her second appearance on the show when she breaks out of a mental institution and tries to shove dean back into her lady parts to give birth to him for real. At which point Dean asks if she's their real mother and she admits she isn't.
He definitely had sex with her, but in addition to Gakk's points about Myra's "finally" give birth to Dean, etc; Rusty more directly tells Hatred he let her believe she was the boys's mother for years. "It really messed her up."
Most people think the venture bro is called this because of hank and dean but they have been building up to showing you that the monarch and doc venture are half brothers same dad different moms change my mind or fight me in the comments lol
You made some mistakes, some minor (showing the wrong scamp or polar bear) but some fairly important and others are massive mistakes. You really should have your people rewatch the material you cover, I'd also say it should be someone who also loves the show enough to really be 100% positive of these facts. Some of these made me think that the person writing this didn't ever see the show. I'm not upset but I love this show too much to just sit and watch without correcting these. #26 you showed the wrong Scamp, that is Scamp 3 in the flashback during operation P.R.O.M. where Action man asks Rusty to pull his finger while holding a grenade, when Rusty goes to pull his finger he pulls the pin instead. Action man then says throws it and ducks for cover as Scamp 3 runs after it. Rusty Terrified of losing another scamp runs and jumps on the grenade only to find it was a gag prop when a stick with a flag that says "Boom" pierces his kidney. The scamp in the first episode had his skin removed by Dr. Venture so he could do cosmetics testing on him while attempting to keep him alive longer than the industry's animals. #42 actually they refer to him as Mr. Quest before they renamed him "Action Johnny" Also they used Race Bannon before even that. #51 the polar bear you show (alive) is from Season 6 after "Pirate Guy" breaks into the zoo and insists on being tranked along with the polar bear to feed his trank fix. Brock later had to go find him and in the process grabs the sleeping bear to place in Wide Whale's headquarters. The polar bear he killed was in the arctic tundra, he skinned it to give Dr. Venture something warm to wear. #52 he never shaved his beard, he trimmed it #56 ok well they don't avoid lethal weaponry they simply avoid excess killing, unnecessary killing. They have no qualms allowing killing as evidenced by the massive number of henchmen that die, Red Death's murder of his original arch rival and the OSI's liberal use of legit lethal rounds in their firearms. #64 that explained her voice but neither confirmed nor denied she is or is not a transexual, nothing in the series has put that rumor to rest. #66 Dermit and Hank were already rock musicians, and I know it's a bit nit picky but he may of decided to go into it solo in s6 but that's not when he decided to or even became a rock musician. Jacket couldn't of existed before s6 if your fact is correct. #72 Actually when Brock goes to visit Kano to help find the other cylinder and he plays it for him, it's confirmed after that Kano did kill Dr. Venture similarly to how it was thought by them both that Sandow killed his Dr. Venture (only to later find out he broke the orb to save him and disobeyed orders). #106 you said "90%" while showing a screencap that showed "93%" I don't know about you but when I see 107 "FACTS" about something I love Iexpect all 107 of them to be true.
Dr. Mrs. The Monarch isn't trans. Her, the Monarch, and Phantom Limb have a stated so. Brock only thinks she is because of her voice. So yes, the rumor was put to rest by the show itself.
+lain iwakura you need to rewatch the show. There is absolutely no definitive proof she is has always been a woman. Pretty much everyone in the series has called her original gender into question. That is the entire point of the joke, no one knows abnd likely will never know.
In season two, the episode when Monarch has captured the boys, there is a very clear scene in which Dr. Mrs. The Monarch is shown to have a large and well developed adams apple. She is transgendered there is no doubt about that.
Venture Bros is one of my all time favorite adult swim shows (non anime). It had some great story arcs, character development , and featured great music.. Operation P.R.O.M. featured the song "like a friend" by the band "pulp". A great song that featured in the special in such a dramatic way.. So good
That depends what you mean by official. They were required to stop referring to Action Johnny as anything "Quest" and in Race Bannon's second appearance he's nicknamed "Red" because the rights holders wanted to minimize the direct connections in case they ever want to reboot Johnny Quest again, etc. But within the confines of the Ventureverse, yes, it considers itself and Johnny Quest part of the same canon, along with numerous other series. The actual Scooby Doo characters exist, for instance, in addition to the parody versions mentioned in this video, as Johnny claims he once slept with Velma. (On a side note (which will only make sense if you've seen Venture Bros so feel free to skip this if you haven't: While Venture Bros predates it by a huge margin, in retrospect, Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated works hilariously well for being tied together. Both have canon alternate dimensions, super-science, superheroes, etc. It also includes Johnny Quest, who was shown as a kid or teen 5 years before the events of the series, meaning he'd be roughly the gang's age. More, since those ages would mean the events of SD:MI would need to take place some 20-30 years before Venture Bros, it becomes all the more hilarious that a recurring background character in SD:MI has hair and a t-shirt resembling childhood Rusty Venture... at what would be a time when the Rusty Venture Show is super popular. :P)

Actually, in fact #55 The Sovereign was killed by another shape-shifter that took his role, which he was then killed when he transformed into an eagle.
No, the Sovereign we knew had always been the Bowie impersonator, who was said to be friends with the real Bowie and possibly the creature featured on the cover of Diamond Dogs. Others did fill the role before, but the Sovereign before not-Bowie was Force Majeure, who died prior to the start of the series. (There is, however, an AMAZING theory on who Force Majeure was if you're interested. :B)
What about the fact that in-between seasons of The Venture Bros. that they independently release Christmas music throughout the years. A simple TH-cam search for "venture brothers christmas music" can prove that
Fact 107 is slightly incorrect. It is the Action Man who tells Dean about how to bury a dead member of team Venture. "You have to fertilize the ground to represent new life"
Rusty didn't graduate from State University. He dropped out and later got an honorary degree from a Tijuana community college.
The mans father died cut him a break
Good job, they need to add or correct there mistake
He also wasn't roommates with Ed White because his name was Pete White and he wasn't Rusty's roommate, Brock was.
Literally, episode 1. And they bring it up a lot in the first season (Bigsby even takes a stab).

No venture has been a level 10 up til around the time the compound burned down and he went broke.
It clearly says clearance level. Meaning just what he has access to at osi
Cancelling this show was one of the greatest injustices in adult swim/cartoon network's history. Well, that and the cancellation of Metalocalypse.

It’s kinda cool that there’s a few David Bowie references in this series. Mainly the Sovereign shapeshifting into Bowie.
