@@xtsywill hey personally I think it depends on your living situation, time, budget etc. Dogs typically need something like a yard or a park to be able to run and get exercise, bunnies also need lots of space but they are indoor pets. Just remember to do research on both pets! 👍
Hi Morgan I think a lot of people would like to see rabbit vs Guinea pig or vs Chinchillas. Because most of the time they decide between smaller pets when vs rabbit.
Yes, I believe rabbits rule! Even though buns aren't sociable like a dog , I love everything else about them. I am a dog groomer and I still prefer rabbits over dogs! haha Thanks for this great video. 🥰 P.S. Yes, please do a cat vs rabbit video also.
Rabbits vs cats please 😁. Being a long time cat person, I never, ever thought I'd have bunnies living in my house & am constantly reminding myself "rabbits are not cats"! 😉. PS...I do love my bunnies Potato & Pickles ❤
As a pet owner who has both dogs and rabbits, I love them both! I've had dogs since I was a little child and finally became a rabbit owner as an adult.
That's very interesting. I own hamsters, and yes, they need exotic vets, too. I love hamsters, but now I've been reading and researching a lot on bunny care. I'm aware the differences. I also have a family dog but doesn't stays in our home. I'll always make sure that their separated when the dog visits our place. Rabbits and hamsters are so cute. I'm looking very forward to own a bun soon ❤
Funny, just this morning my friend commented to me that her cat woke her up at 6:45 am, howling, meowing, crying, and in general, just being a nuisance lol. I commented back that my bunny never wakes me up lol. It was in that moment I appreciated the silence of my rabbit companion 🐰
I think you should totally do a series on this! Not just a part two, but maybe you could also look at hamsters and other small pets that often are alternatives to rabbits. Can't wait to see this! I have a dog and a rabbit and personally I like rabbits more for a variety of reasons, but my dog is definitely more like a person than my rabbit, so they are both great in their own ways. Hope to see this series continue!!!
I am biased, I have a bunny and I love every bit of him. Though I think in truth it isn't the species that you have as a pet, it's the relationship and bond that you are able to develop with them. I dote on my bunny and spoil him with love, if I had a dog instead, I'd do the same and I'm sure I'd have as close a bond with the dog as I currently have with my bunny.
Dogs will always be preferable for me bc i like how you can take them everywhere, easily compete with them in popular sports, they can truly be fully integrated into your life etc. 😊💕 I've never had my own dog but I lived with my husband's family dog and was the main caretaker. I enrolled him in a dog training club asap!
I have to wait to get a rabbit or rabbits because there are no exotic vets here. The nearest one is about two hours away 😢 Once I am near an exotic vet, that’s when I can have rabbits! I think a cat vs bun video would be great!
I have both and love them all but, my bunbun is so much easier to care for. Finding a vet for her was a bit of a challenge but in the end I took her to the vet that my in-laws have gone to for 40+ years. Also, finding someone I trust with Maisy is so hard. So it's staycations for me and I'm ok with that.
Well I have 2 rabbits, 1 cat, and 1 dog and love them all in different ways and for different reasons. I would say that when it comes to the pet that loves me most and is always trying to please me and is truly an emotional support animal I would say it's my dog hands down but they are all amazing pets!
I have both rabbits and dogs and I would say dogs are harder to take care of for sure. However, the companionship they give you is unmeasurable! (lol my bunnies and my dog love to play together. despite the prey vs. predator reflex.) And yes, breed of dogs makes a significant difference. I have a lagotto romangolo (look it up!) and while he is on the smaller side still (compared to great danes, bernese mountain dogs, etc.) he is MUCH different than when I had a yorkie.
Cinnabun! My bunny recently got diagnosed with ear mites and I would love to have from you a information video abt ear problem, ear problems etc. ( I got her from a bad breeder as we had more problems with him :()
also for dogs, it is much easier to communicate and train them to not be destructive than bunnies, but if u just let them be them, then yes the bigger the dog, the more destructive.
I haven't watched the video yet, so let's see how much we agree on: bunnies are more chill, cleaner and they're not loud (unless there's mischief involved). But dogs can be service animals, I can't imagine bunny guiding blind person or helping someone diabetic, however both could be wonderful emotional support animals. Dogs are easier pets for children, there's less likely chance that child would hurt a dog and you can train dog to never, under any circumstance hurt a child (like my dog that was 2 months older than me and wouldn't allow anyone to touch me if I was peacefully sleeping, even my mum, he would go between her and me and just stand there until she went away, he let me do everything with him when I was a baby, he just had one mission and it was to protect me). But you have to go for walks with dog and that's hard for some people, especially with some disabilities, it's way easier to ask someone to clean litter box or try to do it yourself (another example from my life). But also it's harder to find good vets and petsitters that you can trust for bunnies, you can find ones for dogs way easier. And you can travel with most dogs easier, some get anxious with travel, like my mum's doggie, but she's still not as scared as my bunny. And it's harder to explain even in pet friendly hotels that you'll come with a bunny. Also there's bigger chance that your dog can travel with you in cabin by plane than rabbit, what I find ridiculous, people who set that rules probably never seen a pet bunny in their life, they definitely didn't spent even 15 seconds on research. They are extremely fragile animals. Dogs can survive way harsher conditions. I'm not saying they ever should, but they technically can. Both are misunderstood animals in many cultures, but I think bunnies are even more than dogs. I think both are amazing, all animals are amazing in their own respective rights, but for me, bunnies for the win.
great video and precisly all resons you mention whit geting a dog is why i dont haveone to much the maintaince i mean they ey still need to go outside even if you are ill. Please do cat vs rabbit video. /stay hoppy
I love rabbits but I have to go for dog! Probably because I have a dog myself, he loves belly rubs way to much😭You can also train a dog to do a lot of cute, necessary tricks. I don’t know about rabbits tho, can they learn tricks? Cuz I can imagine that being so cute!!!
I love dogs and I love bunnies don't have a bunny yet but my friend does and they're very nice cool animals I'm watching this because I want to know if I should get another dog or a rabbit for my second pet
Morgan I have a puppy and a rabbit and my rabbit has her own room, but she also runs around the house and my puppy. She has her own playpen that she plays in and she also runs around the house but they run around at different times but I make sure that they’re separate because one time they met and my bunny was scared to death so the bunny ran away and she ran right back into her room so I just keep them separate and I think that should be good. Cause they’re not together.
Yeah rabbit vs dog hasn't ever been "comparable" in my eyes but cats vs rabbits - there are some definitely overlaps imo - would love to hear your thoughts!
I wish that i knew that having a rabbit as a pet was an option. I have two pitbulls(they're family pets but my sister and i take care of them). Its such a hassle to bath them and i hate walking them, don't get me wrong i love them with all my heart but i don't really like taking care of them.
Speak for your self my bunny is amazing loves travling snuggles with me and loves guests and if im not there she will be independant shes called cherry
My rabbit learned how to unplug my electric blanket😑 he doesn't chew on the cable, just nips enough to get ahold of it and pull it out.❤😂 he's my heart though
Great Video. I Adopted My Son Kirby 🐰 over 2 1/2 years ago and I bought a Stroller. Kirby 🐰 is a Flemish Giant, Free Roamer and Eating Chewing Machine, 15 lbs of Pure Fun. I wanted to Adopt a Bernese Mountain Dog but at my age of 74. I can't walk him in the winter 🥶 time. I studied up and watched Videos on Bunny's for 6 months before I Adopted Kirby 🐰. Best Thing I ever did in Years was to Adopt My Son Kirby 🐰. We go everywhere together park, farmers market, by the Lake, Dunkin Donuts ,and Shopping 🛍️. We even went on a Vacation together to Las Vegas 2-7 2-10-23. I spend more Money 💰 on Kirby 🐰 than I do on myself. Well worth it. His middle name is Mr. Trouble, he's a master of Bunstrution. He's My Life and One and Only Son. Please Watch My Son Kirby 🐇 on TH-cam over 30 Videos. You will see 👀 why. A 74 year old Crazy Bunny Father.👍🤗✨💞💘🤪🐰
As a person who has dogs and a rabbit they honestly are both great in their own ways!
Same here!
Ya
which one would you recommend more for a first time pet owner?
@@xtsywill hey personally I think it depends on your living situation, time, budget etc. Dogs typically need something like a yard or a park to be able to run and get exercise, bunnies also need lots of space but they are indoor pets. Just remember to do research on both pets! 👍
Exactly!!
Cats vs rabbits would be really interesting, since they are both the more independent/litterbox option for pets ❤️

A rabbit versus cat video would be great, too. Thanks for another great video.
I love animals and your videos😄🐇❤️
As a pet owner who has both dogs and rabbits, I love them both! I've had dogs since I was a little child and finally became a rabbit owner as an adult.
All pets are wonderful, but I prefer bunnies 🥰🐰. Great video!
The dog barking is so overstimulating for me so I loooove my quiet bun ❤
I love all animals, but I think it really depends on you. I personally love Bunny’s more but Dogs are a close second. ❤️🐇🐕
Same here stranger 😊❤️

I think a cat vs bun video would be great!
you look so good! love this video, such a great idea! you should compare to cats and guinea pigs too! :)
Dogs will always be my first love, but I honestly couldn't tell you if I love dogs or bunnies more now 😅❤

Yeah rabbit vs dog hasn't ever been "comparable" in my eyes but cats vs rabbits - there are some definitely overlaps imo - would love to hear your thoughts!
