Great video! I have been using the 606's for a long time. I suffered with plantar faciatas for years while working on concrete. ELM SHOES in Greencastle Pennsylvania is where I go. I swap out the factory insoles and use Aetrex insoles. I havent had a problem since with my feet. Dont underestimate the importance of socks either. I switched over to Darn Tough socks a few years ago. Expensive but guaranteed for life. It took over 2 years to put a hole in the big toe area. Took them back, gave me another pair, no questions asked. Good footwear is a must!
I wore redwing boots for over 20 years but they got to the point I couldn’t afford them anymore they are a great boot and comfortable you did a great job on the video comparing the boots
Good review on Red Wing Boots Joey. I, like you have been a believer in Red Wing 2240 King Toe safety toe for over 30 years. First 26 years in an industrial factory working in maintenance, the last 4 in a healthcare facility in maintenance. I do work on my knees a lot, the last 2 pairs, I've been disappointed, the toe got a hole in the leather in less than 6 months. I hope they aren't cheaping out on their leather.
Since you are working with Red Wing, have the old pair re-soled and have them take photos or video of the hand-work and machinery steps that you can put a clip together on their return review.
I wore Red Wing boots since 1975 until about eight years ago when I couldn’t afford them anymore, two years back I got a pair of Caterpillar made in China and I was very disappointed ,,, hard to find U.S. made work boots affordable 🤷♂️
I'm definitely looking for different work boots after my last pair of timberlands are hard as rock causing what feels like a bone spur to develop in my foot I'm looking for a boot with a good cushioned soul maybe I'll give Redwing boots a try
Great review I ended up switching to brunt they are pretty comfortable for me anyways I work for the state so I'm always on my feet i liked redwing but they got to pricy just to destroy them lol
@Jtwes we crack seal 4 miles a day in the summer and replace pipes and do all kinds of road matenience boots take a beating i wish they would give us a boot allowance lol

Thank You kindly. Mine were wearing pretty hard on the tip. They will install tough toe on there rebuild process I believe.
They look a great pair of boots. Nice review. All the best 🇬🇧.
Thanks Jpeel
Do you see many over there.
@Jtwes You don't see them much but you can get them for about £250 to £300. Which I think is about $300 to $350.
Good review of the boots. All the best from Greensboro NC.
Thanks Gurney

Maybe we’ll just take a trip there. That would be cool.
I didn't know you have a John Deere tractor, saw it in first 40 seconds of the video. At least it knows its place.
I had it in a live for Cousin Scott back in the summer.
Great boots
I would like to see your review of the Red Wing shoes when you get them back from the factory after they have been reconditioned
I’m curious myself as how they remold that sole.
My Wolverines have served me goog for the past 35 years.
Good boots. Never had any but knew some guys that do.

I agree they have gotten up there but it’s every thing now. Just wished wages would go up.
@ yea, I’d like to see some of them big wigs make rent on 8 dollars an hour , just a dollar or two an hour raise would help out a working man
Like to have the old ones

Which model CaseXX knife do you carry?
Stockman , I really like my case knifes.
@ I owned a sporting goods store 1977-1987. Sold more Buck knives than Case, but my favorite is the Case is the Trapper -yellow handle.
@ the stockman I have is a small version . I would like to have the large one. I bought a hobo knife for traveling. lol
@ I like the my larger Trapper. That Hobo knife might be good. 👍

The insert you seen is real comfortable.

I can’t imagine being any rougher on boots than what mine went through.

@ I thought mine were going to bite the dust in Dominican from that rebar. Lol
