Going to Botswana in July 2021. Flying from Atlanta, US on Delta to London and then from London on Virgin Atlantic to Johannesburg and then from Johannesburg to Maun on Air Botswana. Going on a Botswana Safari for 15 days and staying at four different camps. Good video. Very helpful....
Thanks a lot, sounds very exciting, I’ve got some other videos of bush flights over the Okavango Delta at this time of year. They may give you an idea of what the environment will look like when you go.
Did you consider watching videos of such, instead, thus adding less to the climate change which is helping to destroy the habitat of the animals you are going to see?
I have indeed seen footage taken of flights over the southern African bush before, in fact having previously flown over it numerous times as well. I chose to capture my experience on this occasion so I could share it with the many people who would be potentially interested, some of whom may not be able to journey to these places in person. We could argue all day about how air travel impacts climate change, as do cars, food processing and our mere existence in general. I would however argue that the revenue generated by our tourism to these areas goes right back into sustainably conserving the species and ecosystems in which they inhabit. Just some food for thought :)
The trip was excellent!! All the camps/lodges had less then 50% occupancy due to Covid. Abandon animal sightings, saw three lion kill’s, it was an amazing first trip to Botswana. Definitely going there again after a couple of years.
Thank you very much for your comment Doc Mo! I understand what you mean about it being difficult to read, a lot of glare from the sun that day which doesn’t help for sure.

excellent video, there are times when the color of the font matches the surroundings, and it's difficult to read.
