I actually hope that in the future, as the world technologically advances, comps can just have keyboards, or better yet, smart cubes will be cheap. To me the pickup process always just felt like an unfortunate reality and not part of what really makes cubing cubing. Same for the timer-stop process honestly. I don't mean any disrespect to people who take those aspects really seriously, but I basically know for a fact that if cubing were still a thing in 30 years, and there were separate boards that were official, I would care very little about the category that included what I see as unrelated steps. One could probably envision a world where the "extra steps" category remained most popular but only for older cubers as new cubers who never had to deal with it by default see it as archaic and it phases out. But I've already been into cubing for years and years longer than almost everyone I encounter on the Internet so I'm probably a very atypical person to feel this way. Then again, by that same virtue even speed cubes were once new for me but objectively superior, and maybe that's also part of what made me instantly embrace stickerless while the community was torn, and then instantly embrace smart cubes as I have now. They need work, though, obviously.
Incredibly impressive average! Magnum opus is a perfect description of the third solve although the entire average is a masterpiece as a whole. Happy New Year and may 2024 make us a bit less slow, in comparison to 6 year olds.
bro kyle is the only one who can stop yiheng his tps/efficiency/lookahead all flow super well together his literally a combination of maxs lookahead tymons efficiency and yihengs tps
Haha I wish I was the one who made that happen but it’s just a thing TH-cam has where when the person in the video says “subscribe” or “like the video” the buttons glow
Tperm merely lowers the time by 0.2~0.3 bcuz Ga perm is the best G perm and can be done in like 0.7 sec, and if u watch carefully u can see that there's no pause between oll and pll in that solve bcuz he predicts the pll on that case, so doing another algorithm which involves regrip for m moves and harder to predict pll might cost him more time. Additionally he has no way to tell using another alg might give him a better pll
Do keyboard solves count? ⬇️
Kind of but you really need to add 0.4 especially since he's holding the cube in hand at the start of each solve
Keyboard solves are a slight advantage, but this average is still probably the greatest ao5 ever
No
Yes because if you don’t have a timer then… What counts?
Yes
Nice vid! Keyboard is really fun I agree, but I think I’m gonna do stackmat from now on
Thanks Kyle! You should definitely do stackmat, then we can count these as UWR. Good luck in future comps!

The truth is, the 3 year olds are coming and I fear there is nothing we can do
bro kyle is the only one who can stop yiheng

Ruihang tps*
I mean yiheng is still 10 yrs old soo I think that won't be possible. But who knows.
@@yoddavince9774 i mean i saw ppl say yiheng is 10 he cant get wr too soo
Can Canada finally get a WR? I hope! Go Canada!!!
I mean Kian but ok…
If we would want to call every OLL by finding a Famous Solve we should decide which 3.13 would be the one lol.
They got mirrored cases of each other too haha. I would say Max’s WR tho
@@STUCUBE oh right..
Dude, when i saw that i couldnt believe it was real
Thanks for the support! And Kyle is just insane
One of the best cubers out there. His TPS, lookahead and use of pseudo slotting is fascinating to watch. Kyle you're very impressive!
NO WAY I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF CREATING A VIDEO FOR THIS 🤣😭 Its all good though
I think he will take over the cubing world
Definitely, if he can control his nerves in comp
I've followed Kyle Santucci's channel for some time already and he is such an underrated cuber!
Bro casually had a counting WR single 😶
He will get World Record Soon. 🏆🏆
Very possible… With 13 TPS all you’d need is a 40 move solution
Sadly he gets a lot of nerves at comp
YOO I JUST REALIZED YOU MADE THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON GLOW WHEN YOU ASKED US TO SUBSCRIBE!!! HOWWW???!!!
Haha I wish I was the one who made that happen but it’s just a thing TH-cam has where when the person in the video says “subscribe” or “like the video” the buttons glow
It’s a keyboard solve but he can just as good on a stackmat
cool
I’m sure that he will have a wr soon(or close to wr)
not first
🤔
if he can control his nerves, i bet both wr single and average would be his
Yiheng look out 😊
I think he’s pretty good but tymons efficient solution are insane
But tymons tps is nowhere close to Kyles
its pretty close tymon get over 10 and sometimes in the 12+ range@@Adi_Cubes
0:37 I remember that scramble, I was scrambling that round
Reply if yall wanna be inna gc
That was just insane
Happy New Years!
The bpa of this was insane
Fr
He singed my cube at comp
Thanks for the mention!
Thanks for the recons bro! Very helpful
@@STUCUBENo problem!
Fun fact: even if it wasn’t on keyboard, it still wouldn’t be world best since yiheng has a 3.73 average on stackmat.
What about on cam tho?
bro... do you have mental retardation? nobody said that's a official solve you bomboclat. stfu
happy new year!!!
Nice!
Happy new year🎉
Great video!
Pseudo-slotting is brilliant!
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
noice
I saw this and I was like why is no one talking about this
If its 2x2 no but anything else yes
scary
I saw this average last week and I was blown away 🤯
i think he could have done on the 3.13 oll hedge U2 R U2 R´
for a pll skip
It looks like the 1LLL but it actually gives a g perm if you do that
for the first solve
What!!!!
I thik so
What he is holding the cube and start the timer
Yes?
Do you main the super weilong
Depends on the day
dude thinks he's gothamcube
Haha that’s actually funny. I kinda do that style of content
I think kyle is sponsered by the cubicle and gan
SpeedCubeShop and gan*
@@KyleSantucci OK. Also when are you getting that wr average
if he did a different algorithm for the oll he would have gotten t perm
basically if he did a u' then this oll M' U' M U2 M' U' M
