Thanks for the detailed lesson Ma'am. Can you please tell me is "Propose" a stative verb? I could see lots of sentenses using "propose" in simple tenses. If it is a stative verb can you please guide me where to check to identify whether a verb is stative or active? From online dictionaries I could understand only it's a Transitive or Intransitive verb?
Hi mam I have a doubt. I am having tea. (Here 'Have' is not possession. It shows action 'drinking'. But, (He is having books.) Is wrong, it changes to (He has books.) Why that mam? In second example (He is having books.) 'Having' can be think as 'Reading'. What's the wrong mam? Pls reply mam 🙏
She's strong in her faith, firm in her belief b) Pick out other alliterated words from the poem. Mam in this line, she's strong and firm and faith are alliteration words right? Her her is repeated words? Pls give me answer mam
Ma'am please make a video on open and close. Bcoz it always confuses me a lot. Why do we say the shop is open instead of opened since we say that the shop is closed instead of close ?. Include all the forms of those words( V1, V2, V3) in that video. I want a full explanation for these words ma'am. I hope you will do
There is no confusion to use these words. First, we have to find whether the word in the sentence acts as a Verb or Adjective or Adverb. The shop is open. Open..is an Adjective.. Not shut, not closed.அடைப்பற்ற, திறந்தநிலையில். She opened the door and went in. Here ..Opened, which acts as a Verb. We could say using this verb in 'Present perfect tense'. They have opened a new restaurant across the street. Here.. Opened..Past participle The shop is Closed, which acts as an "Adjective" here not verb.அதாவது கடை மூடியநிலையில் உள்ளது. Close the book..as Verb(Imperative sentence). They closed their shop owing to lockdown. Here acting as Verb. My daughter is close to my heart. Here..close working as an Adverb. They stood close to the door. Here as an Adverb, expresses the position. Hope you will get it clearly. Please read a lot As Our Madam Said. And constantly watch all the lessons of her, who has taught many things to know us. Thank you!
