I just cleared part 1 today Alhamdulillah, I've used Gleim material. The questions are very conceptual and Gleim materials are not very detailed. Which review material would you recommend for part 2?
i have a question, i haven't had any job specifically focused on internal controls - just related (accounting 6 years in private/industry accounting). However, If I can answer most of these questions correctly ( I also am a CFE candidate) - do I need to wait to take the test?
I cannot say “yes” or “no” to that. I think you should review the syllabus, take a practice exam, and assess which areas you are comfortable with and which areas you need to study further. However, part 1 is the easiest (in my opinion). Best wishes! 😊

Exception report should be detective control instead of corrective control because exception identification by itself doesn't correct errors

Congratulations!!! That is awesome. I used Wiley's review materials. I also think the Institute of Internal Auditors is a great option.
