Congratulations! Very inspiring.. I just completed my CIA and i also have a Bachelor's degree and i am now applying for other jobs. But i only have 2 years experience soo i feel like there is some amount of Imposter syndrome. Keep telling myself that my CIA certification speaks for itself.
Experience teaches us as well; however, you definitely have a solid foundation of knowledge!

Hello is risk mangement better than internal auditing? Thx a lot
I would not classify one as being “better” than the other. Internal audit is a wonderful profession! Risk management allows me to use the same skills I learned from my internal audit experience and focus on regulatory compliance. I wanted a different experience. 🙂
Hello! Congratulations for your new career! I'm an Operational Risk Manager and I got a master's degree in Risk Management and Insurance. I am thinking of taking the CIA exam as I want to expand my knowledge in internal audit, my goal is to become Chief Risk Officer. Do you think it's a good certification to have regarding my profile and my goal?
If you desire to learn more about internal audit, then the CIA is a wonderful overarching certification to earn. Depending on your industry (e.g., banking, finance) or department (e.g., financial crimes), there are also more specific certifications that may benefit you. Thanks for watching! 🙂
