    You’re so right about the negative energy/connotation surrounding screen time in public! Society has totally shamed parents when it comes to screen time. When in reality we are only seeking a glimpse of their everyday life and screen time in general. Thank you for having this important conversation!

      yes! It's frustrating to see the shame built up around tools we are using constantly, Ash's approach is so refreshing

    So much to take away from this incredible conversation. Our family is trying to find that “right balance” of screen time at home that works for us and it is 100% a science project in process. Though it feels hard now it is neat that there’s failures to be witnessed and improved upon by us the parents and the children together.

    One of my daughters loved playing the Sims, but really only the house designing part of the game. When she discovered that there was a real career doing what she loved, she decided at the age of 10 that she wanted to do that. She's now a successful interior architect, and 100% credits the computer game for her success.
