How to Modify a 55’ CHEVY Truck FRAME!

The 55’ chevy truck frame has a factory bend for the steering box. In the video we fix it by cutting it out and welding in a new piece. We’re almost ready to install a Mustang 2 Independent Front Suspension!

Great fix, wish I had done that on my 39 but I chose to leave it as is.

Get two pieces of met and some vices add heat and clamp it down flat

I didn’t want to put too much heat into the frame. Probably quicker to weld anyway
