I found this little snippet on the knobs - my 89 year old Dad looked at me as if I should have known this all along despite him owning two or three before I came along... D is for defroster/demister A is for the heater or air blower IL, is for instrument lights if pulled out to first detent or out to second will bring on the interior and map light too L, lights first detent markers second headlights
Good progress on the Studie. Love watching the videos where you do a number of different things. Trust you and the family had a Merry Christmas. Be safe and stay well.
I found this on a Studebaker page: D is for Defroster/demister A is for the heater or Air blower IL, is for Instrument Lights if pulled out to first detente or out to second will bring on the interior and map light too L, Lights - first detente markers second headlights
Thanks for the tip on the amazon wireless harness. I vicariously learned a lesson without paying for it and learning the hard way like you did. Now I know, stick with Painless brand or be extra picky when choosing a cheap one. Thanks. Love this build!
Hello Brent: Your flair for customization will come up with something. The switches, D is for defrost. The A is auxilliory heater if memory serves me correctly. A suggestion for the speedometer look at some boat units you may find a sizing selection that fits. Have a great Christmas and holliday season. It would be nice to see the Bullet in the PA parking lot in 2025.
Marry Christmas to you and your family. That speedometer reminds me of of a 1963 Chrysler new port I had years ago and all the gages were to bottom of each side in side speedometer
Merry Christmas Brent and Ester. You really threw me under the bus this morning. We planned to have breakfast this morning but your posted your content and I stayed at home to watch your video. Friends left with a huff and a puff. Have a blessed day🎉🎉
Brent, beings you are using that pos metric 200 in studabaker, make sure that there is room for a turbo 350 in your grinds car. You may want to find at least a core to make sure it fits. If you use a gear shifter for a 350 it won’t align with a 200. Positions are a bit off. The 200 is a really weak transmission. When they failed, we would install a 350 in place of them. I did work for GM at the time these 200’s were released and they were dropping like flies. So don’t be surprised if this one fails shortly after you finish this project.
Nice to see Buddy, weather must be really bad out for him to be in the shop. And can't forget Pablo's wiggle butt, so excited to go in the house. Merry Christmas, hope you got your pkgs.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone (including the dawgs) at HalfAss Customs. Thanks for keeping the great unwashed sea of humanity (your viewers and subscribers myself included) entertained and inspired throughout the year(s).🥶🥶🇨🇦🇨🇦👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻✌🏻
As a Electrical Technician I did Hardwiring of Control Systems I enjoyed doing Point to Point Hardwiring, it was a job you had to Think it Through as you did it On some of theses old Rigs they had a pull to Choke knob & A pull to set Throttle Speed knob thx Brent
Love the channel & the projects you take on :) I am surprised though that with all those fancy tools & equipment you have, you don't have a vacuum bleeder tool. I bought one 20+ years ago & love it! It makes bleeding an easy one man job.
You have a lot of automotive history being work on in the shop right now. The Studebaker kind of grows on you with all the things you've done to it. Season Greetings and hope it's a good for you your family and friends.
That wiring kit looks like the same one I'm using. It's a decent inexpensive kit but like you said it helps to understand where the wires go before starting. Wiring an old vehicle for me is relaxing. Have a Blessed Christmas and New Year!
Brent, Esther & family, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!! Terrific channel!! As always, God bless and take care from your very long-time California subscriber 🙏 🤲
Hey Brent, Merry Christmas 🎅to you and your family, enjoy your video's, just picked up a 36 ford 2door humpback, your video's are very helpful. Been a subscriber for a while and your still showing me stuff that's helps me with my projects...thanks..Ralph
I want to wish you a Merry Christmas. Also want to express how much I appreciate your channel and at 72 yo I have learned so much from your videos. From the moment I saw your homemade steam cleaner I was hooked. From your devastation to the rise of the New Shop. So thank you, from the Pacific Northwest. Like, share and tell your friends.
Hey Merry xmas from spokane, washington usa, i am 60, i love your videos, i just watched you make trunk lid for the coupe, you put the one support on the left side, i think it would be cool to find another support just like the one on left side and put on the right also, or put the one down the middle, too much trunk flex with just one, if you find a second original like the one you put on there, then you have great support, if you use those shock supports, they get old and have to be replaced, i love the original locking support, great great content, dont stop your videos.. chuck williams here
If you had to put a larger speedometer in the center of that dash ring, you can always cut that circle out that is three inches in diameter and weld in a larger circle if need be no? nevertheless Merry Christmas Brent to you all, God Bless.
God bless with the Merriest Christmas and the Happiest New to everyone, everywhere.

I’m amazed at how easily you installed the engine. You never fail to impress me

I was at least one that said the flat belt pump won't work, 2 weeks ago ,and thanks, you welcome
A lotte further, nice going, Brent
Marry Christmas to you and your family. That speedometer reminds me of of a 1963 Chrysler new port I had years ago and all the gages were to bottom of each side in side speedometer
32:04 You have so many switches from that S-10 that you can retrofit in that dash and just put the Studebaker knobs on them.
Haha I need them for the international.
Merry Christmas Brent and Ester. You really threw me under the bus this morning. We planned to have breakfast this morning but your posted your content and I stayed at home to watch your video. Friends left with a huff and a puff. Have a blessed day🎉🎉
Brent you have a full house there. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family.
That’s what I like no fear just get in-there figure it out it’s what makes your show great to watch
Wishing everyone out there a Merry Everything and a Happy Always 🙂
Same to you!👍
Happy Holidays to you and the entire Half Ass Family out there.
You should try a early 1990's Chevy truck speedometer they had that sweeping look .... God bless and thank you for sharing your projects
Rheostats rotates rather than adjust by pulling out for heaters. That is the way I recall. Happy Holidays to you and all of your other fans/followers

Gift from Heaven those copper coloured brake lines so much easier to work with
Happy Christmas you you and yours, Mein Freund... Blessed Be Gaiha, the Mistress and Her Servants
Well the study is coming out good I like your idea about the dash that help clean it up a little bit can't wait to hear this thing run
Brent the late GM truck gauge style might be able to modify the gauge set to fit cause if I’m not mistaken there a sweep style!
Nice to see Buddy, weather must be really bad out for him to be in the shop. And can't forget Pablo's wiggle butt, so excited to go in the house. Merry Christmas, hope you got your pkgs.
You have a really nice shop bro, there's a lot going on from the looks of it but it's still pretty organized...👌
