True, but lots of 361 Big Blocks people assume are 383's..this was for the 1966 model year..361 dropped for the 67 model year. No, not the small block 360 those came out in 1971 in C bodies..
Slick, I'd love to see you get the old Coronet road ready along with interior work and some new Cragars! I myself wouldn't worry with the body work and paint.
you need to do a mini series on getting that thing on the road.... then go round puddin's and blow the doors of his LS pickup... all the best for 2025 boys
Brings back memories. In 1976 I had a 67 Coronet R/T convertible with 440, auto and 3.23 posi, buckets and console. Fun car. Hope you do something with it.
That dune buggy reminds me of the one that my Late Dad made in 1969. He bought a running/driving 1952 Plymouth Station Wagon for $25.00.He drove it to my Uncles house and we cut the entire body off using a Skil Jig saw that I still have. Dad thought that the wheelbase was to much so he cut a foot out of it and welded the floor back together. We went a lot of places in it and my Late Mom was scared every time.
@@OKspeedandcustom Yes I do they were taken with a new at the time Polaroid Land camera. The kind that you had to put the picture under your arm to help the picture develop. But I'm not computer savvy enough to send them to anybody. I can do e-mail but if someone asks for pictures. I ask them their address. Cause the post office is gonna bring them. How can I send you some. Can I use the P.O. Box you have listed on your you tube page.?
Good afternoon from Cape Cod ⛵ that Coronet is in remarkably nice shape, I can't believe it just started up and idles, yeah it sounds pretty great 👍 keep up the great work and Happy New Year guys 🎆✌️🇺🇲
great job!! soak that other engine down with mystery oil! coronet runs great! charlie, only need to spray starting fluid in the primary!! sure old man morske loves the flexy hose! Have a happy new years guys!!
@isaiahellis3716 I caught that as well. You could tell as soon as the hood was popped. Everything was full stock. If it were a small block 318 car someone would have had to had a 440 to cannibalize. My dad had a 440 Magnum Charger. I'll never forget that engine.
Hey guys, from Louisville, Ky. I really enjoyed watching this episode. Such a cool old car to work on. I gotta say I love the stuff you do, but Mopars have a special place in my heart. I've had several. Currently, I have a project of my own. Its a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner. Orange and black. Its got a 383, a 4 speed with a pistol grip shifter and a 3:23 rear gear. It needs a lot of work because of rust, but its a labor of love. I might ask you for suggestions. Anyway, I love your channel Keep up the great work.
I ran my fair share of 440, great engine. Get them on the open road an they would run 80m.p.h. all day long. Well a fella would have to stop at a gas station or two😅. TKS for memories.
I had A 1966 Dodge Coronet 500 with a 383 and 727 automatic transmission! Was the best car I ever owned! They are getting more expensive as time goes on! One day I hope to own another one but right now they are not in my price range! That’s a great car to start with! You could get coronets back in the day with small block or big block engines!
Great video Slick, keep up the great work and content. Love the will it run videos. Hopefully you get the other Mopar free up, I think it be cool to see it operating again!
Yeah I like that car.. it is pretty good shape... FYI puddin used to have a six pack intake manifold... idk if it's for a 440.... He used to have it hanging on the wall of his old shop.... Food for thought...
MOPARRRR... finally something other than model A and Ts, and a 67 coronet to boot... short story, fastest guy in my hometown had a 67 camaro 327 14:1 comp, numerous other stuff... buddy took his dads coronet with a 440 3:91 sure grip out, stuffed a big ole cam in it, and put a bus length on that camaro... very fun cars
That's a nice coronet. My first car was a 4 dr coronet. It was ugly green and both rear qarters were smashed, but the 318 in it ran good. My brother payed 300 for it and gave it to me. I drove it a while and gave it to my sister. Happy New Year!
Yeah it's a Doom Buggy. Forget about it. 😂 That Mopar is a diamond. Crazy. Puddin never had a will it run that easy Happy Blessed new year 🙏 You should load that baby and take it for detailing for your Father in law.
Hey Slick, those Coronet 440's Came with lot's of engine Options, from Slant 6 on up to a 426 Street Hemi, you could even order them from the Factory to Go Drag Racing, a friend of Mine and his brother campaigned a '66 Belvedere Plymouth, basically same body style with The Plymouth Trim. They convinced their Dad to order it before they were old enough to Drive. , it came from the factory heater delete, and No Warranty, They took the 4speed out put in an Automatic, so Dad drove it for a year, and when His brother got his license, they went Drag Racing. Local Track New England Dragway. That would make a Real Cool Mopar project for you guy's to feature as you go along. Those 440 V8's were Built Beefy! You'll have a Blast with it once you get it Up to par. 👍
@OKspeedandcustom yes it Did have a 426 Hemi, His Older brother Owned it, and Went to Viet Nam, Parents sold it off, and it ended up with a collector in the Midwest, so his younger brother still had Key Parts for it. Like the Transmission and the Factory HP parts. , he was not online. So I emailed the Current Owner, And got them together, the Stories of Racing against the Sox in Martin team back in the Day, pretty Cool stuff for High School boys then 👍 That DODGE is badass, hope you guys can get that Mopar back on the Streets Slick

Most of the coronets with a big block were 383. More videos on this car would be a definite boost for your channel. I would like to see more on it.
Hopefully we can get to a point to do more to it!!! Thank you!
@OKspeedandcustom I shared the video to everyone I know and got the same response from them.

Those two projects would definitely be a channel booster keep up the good work enjoy the content

Tip for changing plugs, use a UJ and an extension, it will give you better better control and reduce the risk of snapping a plug. Hope this helps.
Thank you Speedy!
