Even when we have electric elevator, cars, trains, VR, I am still somehow swallowed by these designs. They are no doubt old and aged and far inferior to there later generations, but they felt like Colosseus, like mountain that create foundation, forebearance for so many designs. These designs looks simple and yet when they move, I could feel the intelligence of this grand artist, not only in his designing talent, but also innovative and amazing knowledge in physics, mathematics, something simply almost miracle and not belong to the world, I felt like I was living in the medieval, being amazed by these simple yet enormous steps he printed out for us and for the future of advancement. I just somehow feel tremendously respectful to him
Why do so many haters follow this channel? If I hated a certain subject matter I would not follow it just to mock it. That would be a waste of my time.... but the haters sure do seem to have a patent on perpetual hate.
FuckYouGooglePlus In his most recent video, it has a certain word which you and other haters don't understand. "ideas" So basically, you aren't what you are trying to make the others become.
If all of the legendary inventors, pioneers, engineers etc... given a chance to come back alive just to see their dreams in today's reality. What would be their reactions?
Although Leonardo DaVinci was a very exceptional and talented person most if not all of these particular inventions could of only been re-invented or re-discovered. They have all been around since way before Leonardo's lifetime.
The mechanism for the scythed chariot is basically a simplified slip differential mechanism in reverse. Amazing to think we are still using the same basic techniques in our cars today!
For anyone wondering why the pictures of da Vinci's writing are mirrored, they aren't. Da Vinci wrote backwards to prevent people from copying his work.
Those were pretty cool! It would have been really cool to combine a couple of them in the same project like the ball bearings and the fly wheel. But still those projects were well done! Alot of effort went into each of those machines! 👍
Leonardo was the MAN! Quit a polymath was he! Painter, sculptor, innovative mechanical device developer, biologist, etc.. I place him up there with Sir Isaac Newton and J. Robert Oppenheimer, Clearance "Kelly" Johnson, etc. I read somewhere that he was very strong. Could bend out of shape shoe horses with is bare hands.
Genius, I respect Leonardo Da Vinci. Fly wheel is used in theme parks. Haha copy cat people or i hope you credit him for his idea! Self supporting bridge is fantastic.
Leonardo Da Vinci was a great engineer and he should have been given more respect. Newton and Einstein just explained theories but he showed how to use them in daily life. Notice that many inventions and machines use help of his smaller machines.
True, but Da Vinci never BUILT his inventions. On paper, they all look grand, but as you have seen, there was no reason not to turn these ideas into practical inventions. He just never did.
Well some of his bridges and dams were turned to reality and were used for long time. He was a genius tho and perhaps he could be bigger than Einstein or Newton if he lived in a more modern day but Newtons(and lets not forget Leibniz) discovery of calculus and Einsteins relativity just blows any Da Vincis discoveries out of water.
That is an interesting observation. IF Da Vinci had been born 100 years later could HE have come up with gravity? OR was his genius presented in his time and with the tools he had. In a few hundred years would he have still been a genius or would science have left him behind?
I do agree that he did not make them. In fact, I've become quite annoyed at the fidget spinner fad. But my reason for saying you can thank Da Vinci is because of the ball bearing at 5:10. A very similar bearing is used in the center of the spinner to give it its spin. Of course this machine work is used in many other things as well, but I figured I'd put that to show how something from the rebalance that may have been easily overlooked then is easily overlooked now a days as well but even in simple little toys. (though the spinner was originally created to be a toy). Also, does anyone happen to know if there is any ealier known record of that type of bearing?
T-Rex FPV do you have a link you could send? that actually sounds interesting on how they had it even then. it could come in handy with one of my controversial topics in english
Here's a form of perpetual commotion that always works: publish a TH-cam video with the word "perpetual" in the title or the video, and people will perpetually explain how perpetual motion isn't possible. This is because of a principle known as "not reading the other comments before posting."
I make 3D models of DA VINCI's inventions and I discover day after day the genius that he is.
"Warning not perpetual" is the best notice I've ever seen
To actually see the fact that a helicopter is screwing itself into the air and coming up with the air screw, at that point in time, is sheer genius.
If only Da Vinci had some Legos.
Oh, he surely would make a great use out of them.
hadi erturk hahaha.legos are made 1955.
or or at least legs
😂😂😂
...or Lincoln Logs

Good thing they turned aerial screw the wrong way, otherwise they would fly away and possibly harm themselves
PolesAreEverywhere i noticed that too
PolesAreEverywhere i noticed the same
Did that young man, make all the models? Wow!

why is the word perpetual so popular in this video
That self supporting bridge is awesome
Leonardo Da Vinci was genius of all time
thanks for these interesting Da Vinci inventions
Thank you very much
Действительно -гениально и просто .
Thanks Leonardo da Vinci
Am i the only one who finds this facinating?
superb!!!! Thats so Awesome
If all of the legendary inventors, pioneers, engineers etc... given a chance to come back alive just to see their dreams in today's reality. What would be their reactions?
...e não estão todos os inventos! Dá Vinci, uma pessoa absolutamente GENIAL. Parabéns a todos que produziram esse material e vídeo.
Leonardo da Vinci, nice inventions
That self support bridge was out of the box
So many of those things are on my bike! Thanks Leo!
Next video: People running very fast (Warning: not breaking light speed limit!)

lol
xX Xx lmao
That's what I thought - "Da Vinci machines. Warning: Not Perpetual!" - Duh!
xX Xx ayyyyy lmao
Brilliant idea.
awesome timber work and models. thanks for sharing
YO!!!! Im subbed to your channel! I didn't know you watched visual education too... NEAT!
If Da Vinci wanted to protect the castle 5:00
Wow nice
its just amazing he was an artist and inventor
He was a genius.
Although Leonardo DaVinci was a very exceptional and talented person most if not all of these particular inventions could of only been re-invented or re-discovered.

Incredible job 🙌
He was a genius. What an engineering mind!!!!
Leonardo was an excellent inventor
Great video
This Scythed Chariot is used in the most amazing movie called "Bahubali". Its the same used by bahubali's brother in the war.
The mechanism for the scythed chariot is basically a simplified slip differential mechanism in reverse. Amazing to think we are still using the same basic techniques in our cars today!
wow that ball bearing super clever
Thanks
Father of mechanical engineering😎😎
Father of nothing because he was gay.

No Daedalus is
@@garyfardon8841 wtf....
@@garyfardon8841 then who was the father of gay?
wonderful model making. keep up the good work. should sell to some museum so others can see them at work.
You should put that "Warning not perpetual" at the beginning of all your videos
+Andrew Anderson Christ, yes.
OMG, I am honored! I always wanted to meet one of the only 3 people in the world who know perpetual motion machines can't exist. XD
wtf? why you allways trying to negate it?

Worth watching
what an idea
i like it
keep it up! ❤
I find this stuff fascinating
WELL DONE
Leonardo da vinci actually holds the record for most inventions still used today.
He does?
It is simply a screw, nothing else. Da Vinci is a overrated genius
The only real thing in this channel ... :D :D
Thanks for warning me that they're not perpetual.
Forever Leonardo Da Vinci
amazing👍👍👍👏👏👏
"Ok, what does your Anemometer do?"
Leo Da V: "um, I haven't worked that bit out yet"
?
Thanks for bringing this things into notice... Superb work...
Great music!

Genius Leonardo vinchi
" Warning! Not Perpetual!" because if it was, people would be like "Omg no I have allergies to that I can't watch"
Leonardo da Vinci is great scientist n artist
A Gilbert Erector set would have been a killer gift for Leo.
Cool!
One of the greatest minds of all time
wow, actor of titanic, other movies, and also an inventor, this dude is awesome!

I wish I could see Leonardo Da Vinci play Poly Bridge

Leonardo da Vinci didn't make fidget spinners
