The perfectly restored Mini 95L Van. He's from December 1980 and is better than the day he left the factory. He's been through a recent 4 year restoration by a very talented individual, who has done a number of Minis as personal projects over the years whilst having his own restoration and maintenance business. Invoices from M-Machine for over £6,000, everything is new. After the full body restoration he was treated to a bonkers paint job in his original Mace Brown. Cellulose on the inside and 2Pak on the outside, its as good underneath as it is on top. This is concours condition, and indeed is entered into Stanford Hall concours in September.
Mechanically he's been totally overhauled and everything has been refurbished other than the bits that couldn't be saved, these where replaced with new. The engine has been totally rebored and rebuilt, new everything, also converted to an unleaded head (all carried out by Rotherham engine services). The gearbox has also been rebuilt by M&T Transmissions in Sheffield and has old/new stock bearings. Of course all the suspension and brakes have been refurbished or replaced. Drives like new and has done about 60 miles now since being finished.
Interior wise, simplicity is key here, again all brand new on the original frames, centre binnacle house all the information and it smells new!
An extremely low owner van having had only 3 owners, 2 of which were in the same family.
