Body:
Fully restored, modified and strengthened Mini shell. Z cars race spec Vtec kit conversion with stiffer & stronger roll cage. Z cars front subframe kit, this replaces the conventional mini front subframe with a much lighter and stiffer structure that also gives the benefit of coil springs and adjustable dampers (more on that later). Painted in the stunning shade of volcanic orange (B70) with a contrasting black roof & arches. Z cars arches look bonkers as well as saving lots of weight over their metal counterparts. Perspex side sliding windows, rear windows (with special induction and cooling inlets) and rear screen all add to the weight saving theme. 13 x 7 Revolution in black & wrapped in Yoko A048 175/50r tyres look mega. Billet alloy rear trailing arms and driveshaft kits are also upgrades. Fully adjustable suspension thats been freshly geo setup and corner weighted recently. You cant miss all the MK1 touches including grill, badges and rear lights plus stainless steel bumpers and faux twin tank fillers.
Engine & Gearbox:
Z cars rear mounted RWD Honda K20a engine & 6 speed LSD gearbox! The legendary Honda k20 engine had been totally rebuilt by Bourne HPP some of the spec includes all new bearing, rings etc, Bourne racing cams 32R's, gears etc, rlc inlet, 550cc injectors, new chains etc the list goes on and on. A TMC race engineering upgraded AIM wiring loom plus alternator, starter motor, inner CV joints and all required mounts. Z cars performance exhaust which is a Simpson race exhaust 4-2-1 system (sounds incredible) Custom induction kit. Upgraded fuel system that includes Z cars large capacity fuel tank, Bosch high injection pump, silicone pipes and all the required clips etc for fitting. The cooling system is another Z cars upgraded kit which includes a bigger radiator, header tank, the already mentioned silicone hoses plus extra fans & aluminium fixings. Kpro programable ECU with Vtec controller. A brand new dry cell battery has just been added. All of this results in a spectacular 262.5 BHP & 186.1 ibft through the rear wheels. 0-60 in 3 and a bit seconds. Being set up at Tegiwa, this is an utter masterpiece.
Brakes:
Front brakes is the Z cars 256mm big brake kit which comprises of billet aluminium bells & mounting brackets, 256mm grooved & vented discs, KAD alloy calipers, upgraded KAD pads and all braided hoses. The rear brakes are Citroen Saxo 4 pot calipers with handbrake. Adjustable bias adjustment all add to the race car feel.
Interior:
Light weight bucket seats in black leather with body painted backs and Z cars aluminium cage mounted seat brackets. Black 4 point FIA approved TRS harnesses keep you glued in your seat. Full carbon dash houses the Digi dash from Aim that works on GPS and also automatically downloads all the race track info you need when your'e within a certain distance, this is a work of art in itself and gives you all the information you could ever wish for plus more (lap timings etc). Lots of custom switches from Aim including the 6 button key pad, heated windscreen, lights, wipers, wash & USB connection. Push button start, Summit black alacantara removable steering wheel with centre marker is a really trick item, has your Lights, indicators, horn, wipers etc, black leather door cards, alloy custom gear lever & knob, alloy door furniture, alloy foot rests all add to the race car feel. A full roll cage in black is a work of art. Of course the engine is behind the seats so theres no need for a heating system but there is also a fire cover for the engine bay.
This is our greatest ever Mini to date, the invoices that come with this car are eye watering. He's got a massive history file and has traveled just 205 miles since completion. I've never been in a car quite like this, its absolutely BONKERS and completely useable at the same time!
