    Pretty cool that Shaun's tray and canopy were made in Maryborough at mild 2 wild as well as those boilers shown in the first part of the video made at walkers limited Maryborough which is now Downer Rail

    Looked like it great track to get into if you have the experience to drive it and heaps of fun.
    The girl you grabbed as a guide looked like she had a great time too.
    Have a ripper you guys!

    I'm thinking this is a pulse check on how we're liking the new format. I like both, but nothing beats the classic show!

    People not only walked from Laura to Maytown when Maytown started running out of gold, most people walked from Maytown to Croydon on the other side of the Gulf.

    sell all the Toyotas mates and start replacing with the big old Nissan patrols. just goes to show that Nissan is far more superior in the world of 4x4 than Toyota.

      Years ago when stuck in a 2 pub town (Orbost) because of a VW Transporter blown turbo on Boxing Day. I researched the hell out of the most reliable car and 2 came up, Toyota Landcruiser and Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
      Fast forward a few years and I’ve actually got a GU Patrol 4.8. I’ve been watching all the vids of Toyotas breaking drivetrains on 1/10th of what a Gu can handle. My question is what is so unreliable about a GU for Toyota to have the better reputation for reliability despite having such an inferior drivetrain.
      Why don’t Patrols get put on a pedestal like the 80 series, I’m missing something, perhaps the patrols fail in many other areas I’m yet to discover.

      @@ian9toes As a LC owner, the Patrol vs Landcruiser thing is just banter. Toyota has a worldwide rep for reliability I guess because the 3rd world want to do 1million km's on a single oil change and pure neglection. The Corolla and Camry sold in near enough every market. I'd say Toyota made better diesel engines, the 1HD in marine applications make serious power. In all seriousness there's absolutely nothing wrong with a Patrol.

    • @brucenolan6978
      @brucenolan6978 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ian9toes i completely agree with you. i think the GU series of Nissan is way under rated and should be given a fair chance. here where i live in South Africa, everybody raves about the Toyota but rarely seen footage shows that the patrols never breakdown in the most demanding conditions. I I drive a Isuzu kb250 and has put on over 290 000 kilometers on this vehicle and have not had one breakdown. and believe me i have taken this vehicle places where most normal drivers will not even go.
      just a pity in my country the GU is so expensive I cannot afford it.
