The flaw is that it takes energy to break up the hydrogen and oxygen into burnable fuel and the crazy thing is it’s exactly the same amount of energy to turn it into hydrogen and oxygen as you would get back from burning it as car fuel. Which is always going to be the case because it’s literally one of the laws of physics. That’s why so much of our fuel is dependent on happening to find it in a state where it’s already ready to be burned as fuel instead of making the fuel. Water powered cars will never be viable no matter how many mad scientists you hear are working on them
"for context, they make shoes" 🤣
Hear me out, the not so block feature was done because of Elon himself. I’m sure he’s been massively blocked and he can’t deal with that
Or his buddy, the Mango Mussolini.
I guarantee it’s cos Elon can see that hes been blocked by half of the platform
In fairness: It is a bit pointless blocking public posts, when you can just open the same page in a private window to bypass the block.
I suppose if what he really wants is people to be even more annoyed, he'll get his wish.
'What if the real world, but with ads?' Thank you, that is the clearest and most concise description of augmented reality I have ever read!
MKBHD is overrated, honestly
Always has been
He didn't even comment on the new speaker array, much for a "pro user".
You are not rated honestly
He’s an above average consumer who reviews electronics and poses as someone far more technical. He has a business degree and thinks it’s an engineering degree.
@@robe4314 why don’t you with your engineering degree do the same and reach his success levels?
Riley; Your jokes crack me up so many times, multiple times a week. Thank you!
So why does the apple vision pro exist again 😂
For the Apple logo lovers.
@@PSYCHOV3N0MI’d agree with you but there’s even interviews of meta engineers fanboying over the Vision Pro. It’s just the price that’s outrageous
So that the apple fanbois have a toy?...
I'm not going to complain about some competition in the AR/VR space. Sure, the AVP is expensive but also way ahead of its peers as a device. Fighting over brands is for kids.
@@fireboltjd the same thing happened with Meta Quest Pro and the Microsoft Hololens.
But Meta literally brought to everyone VR using a very reasonable price and a lot of games, Microsoft brought a true AR headset that now is just for companies and Apple brought an expensive VR headset like so many others
You both are just the best. Stay awesome, and I'll be back for more.
Only Mark Zuckerberg can release something that’s open source yet still hated by the community!
It’s because he’s a terrible human I mean lizard
Because it's not "open source" by the popular definition which refers to FLOSS (Free/Libre Open Source Software). Mark released it as what we call "source available", and that's software which doesn't respect our freedoms as formally defined by the FSF (and agreed upon by the community).
because its a lie
trust me, he is being praised by people that use ai.
@@monochromeart7311it's not even source available. All you get is the weights, so it's quite similar to downloading pre-built binaries. You wouldn't call MS Office open source because you can run it on your PC, compared to Google Docs.
Vessi are 100% worth it. I've had them for years. *_Actually_* waterproof (the outside at least). But not dirt/grime proof. The white cloth-material ones are a bit hard to clean. High quality overall though. No regrets the 2x i've bought them.
[I am not associated with vessi or the channel; and nobody paid me to say this. I just like the shoes, they're nice shoes]
Ack! Riley! You referenced Star Wars holograms for that mist thing, but I was immediately reminded of the holograms in SeaQuest DSV! You're probably too young for that show.
Oh you should have a fresh look at the rabbit r1.
It's come a looong way and rarely have I seen a company respond so quickly to it's early adopters ideas. It's quite exciting to see it develop. I use it at work and I've never had a device bring so much joy to folks. It has little of the 'sinister' vibe of pulling out a smartphone etc. given the privacy issues with smartphones etc. It's pure delight to pass around and let folks use.
I want a 1 hr quickbits intro video with no quickbits lol
I friggin love this guy and this news. It’s better than TV news and more on point than the daily show.
Meta being more innovative than apple for the past 3 years straight
And yet I won't buy from either.
@mikearisbrocken8507 isnt the new quest 3 actually pretty good for the money? idk im not much into VR
@@ThunderingRoari'm personally finally getting tempted to get one, though it might be wiser to hear about valve's potential response (index 2?)
Innovation should be balanced with polish. Apple has focused almost exclusively on the latter over the last couple of years, but let’s not pretend they aren’t delivering on it.
@@ThunderingRoarQuest 2 is easily the best valued device in history and Quest 3 is designed to be better
I just wanted to say thank you to the Wohle Team of Tech- and Game Linked you people have been making my day 5 days a week and the Rest is Weekend. Thats ok. No fr its such a informative entertaining Show and i cant wait to watch it every day ❤ To forever and beyond! 🎉
Yeah, nothing could go wrong with nuking asteroids...
Carl Sagan in Pale Blue Dot actually goes over the moral and logistical implications of developing the tech of diverting/nuking asteroids. It's really interesting.
9:59 I mean you can see public posts without having an account so even if you block someone you don't like, all they have to do is log out or open an anonymous window

Ohh Zuck is definitely going to be the in the top 5 against the wall when the revolution finally erupts
Maybe even top 3
10:14 I lost it at this 😂
Ah, yes, "open source"...
Is it just me, or has that become a marketing term/"buzzword" now?
Not if it's true
I'm SO entertained!!! 😆 -and enlightened!!!
A Twitter (Stop trying to make X happen) handle is still worth something in late 2024?
Your channel is so good i can watch it all day long.
Oh boy I can't wait for the all knowing fact checking document that will definitely be unbiased and apolitical to tell me what to believe!!

that Tim Cook impersonation is always so on point I love it 😂
12 $ month for high res wallpapers? isnt that like the crica 1999 premium screensaver model? what a clown
"what if the real world but with ads" - ha ha ha ha Dude you're the best.
MKBHD panels app wallpapers have all leaked due to his terrible app coding

Thank you for mentioning the 50 50 split
Before clicking this video, the algorithm made me rewatch a old NCIX Netlinked Daily w/ mustache-less Riley as the host. Compared to this video it's like Night & Day. 😂 some Twilight Zone vibes...
Just letting you know I subscribed because of this episode look forward to the next one
Old: Rock, paper, scissors
Space-age: Asteroid, X-rays, cockroach 🪳
2:53 you caught me off-guard with that one Riley, killed me!
The meta 3s is basically a showcase of their insane profit margin on the 3
Yeah, and still there is _that_ other brand somehow thinking seven times that profit margin is something people would be interested in. The Apple VR is the definition of a company just giving up on trying, and just telling its "fans" to give them all their money.
That said, the Quest 3 does have a different lens design, while the 3s uses the hardware from the old Quest 2. I suspect that bit is the expensive part.
Jessica's jokes are such a joy
That wallpaper app is such a money grab lol and as an artist 50-50 profit split is outrageously greedy.

What worries me more is that I found this video today and subscribed already just for the relief it is not a robot (AI dead voice) narration.
Every time I see a video or photo of Mark Zuckerberg in these modern times I can't help but realize he looks like a failed attempt at going all Brady Brunch

Panels is such a scam it’s insane. He lost all credibility. I unsubscribed from him
He forced you to purchase? 😅
How is it a scam? Do you know what that means?
You can call it overpriced, but not a scam. "Omg I paid $12 for HD wallpapers and all I got was HD wallpapers, what a scam"
@@zachb1706it’s not a scam per say but I think you can get what people mean when they call it a scam. Why the hell would MKB go to all the trouble to make an app and make something as useless and oversaturated as HD Wallpapers. The only context it even sort of makes sense is if MKB was a big wallpaper guy and frustrated with the state of current wallpaper apps, well that or shameless money grab. Can’t say I’m very up to date on the state of the one million wallpaper apps though
That wallpaper app just screams of those old Jamba ringtone scams
I can't be the only one that just doesn't care about the mkbhd thing. Just don't buy it? It's not that serious. Not worth the energy to get so upset. You didn't spend $50 and the world kept spinning.
He’s the biggest tech influencer. So it is a big deal actually. Of course the world will still turn. Next you’ll be saying let murderers go free because the world will still turn 😂 That logic though 😂
It's a little overblown but still well deserved criticism I'd say. He has a large audience and is selling them a product and the public backlash is the equivalent of a bad review.
@@CustardCream22 Ah yes, dumb business decision to murder, the classic progression path...
@@Ale-nv2bo Never said it was a progression. Merely the use of logic.
For subtitles I advocate for Immersive translate. The app is free and I also realized it also works as a mini dictionary for foreign languages.
EU: Makes regulations restricting AI tech.
Tech Companies: Doesn't make new AI available in EU.
EU: Why are these new AIs not available in EU?
might not be so bad, they get to see how it will affect job industries before deciding if they want to allow it or not and for something as invasive as ai you really are better off developing your own
As an EU citizen, I see this as an absolute win (in the cases discussed in the video, at least).
Well.. VPNs are a thing. The real problem is that no innovation/competition comes from the EU
I can imagine that Panasonic wet hologram tech being used at the entrances of stores to not only greet customers, but double as an air curtain to keep bugs out and cool air in.
Panels app is a rushed product that they probably tried to develop inhouse. Infact, willing to bet MKBHD tried to code it out himself with their GD designing the UI.
The misty hologram thing was in SeaQuest DSV, I great sci-fi show from BC.
Why the hell is 90 percent of tech news AI I want to hear about things besides from half baked AI investor cash grabs 😭😭😭
Best case scenario : real tech innovations are being worked on quietly and will come out as huge surprises and cause true tech revolutions on reveal
Worst case scenario : there are no more tech innovations, "AI" is the only thing out there and this is the reason investors are dumping billions into it hoping it'll one day be useful
Great to see Sandia Labs featured!
- Cloudflare making AI Techbros pay for Scrapping is gonna lead to some hilarious whinnery "make plagiarism democratic again!"
- I can 100% assure you the Block function works that way because Elon got tired of every Brand account simply blocking his nonsense
- i hope the mist display becomes a thing in Malls
I saw a mist thing like that at the Petronas Towers 12 years ago, but it was very wiggly, and likely custom-built and super expensive (a flex). Always wondered when more would show up
Last story seems like it could be a really cool addition to a concert's effects
Apple has ALWAYS been cooked
Yes, the company with the highest market cap in the world has always been cooked. Stop defining yourself around brands. You too can have a personality.
Those water droplets don't really cool the air that much, that's what a swamp cooler is and how it works. It decreases temperature by increasing humidity, and it can't decrease the temperature by much. Also, if it's already very humid, they won't do anything other than making something wet.
This Meta stuff is going to fail in a 10 billion USD failure, it might even be more. I just can't properly see how this nonsense would cost more money.
You surely need to do some research which you obviously too lazy to do at all.
I got a Quest 2 and even that is more advance than any other techs like smartphones, smart watches, gaming consoles, desktop pc, and others
The Tim Cook impression was, as always, a welcome surprise. I love all the sarcasm and humor about AI stuff; it truly is weird tech that, admittedly, frightens me a little 😂
long sense unsubbed to mkbhd. Most of his videos can be summarized with a google search
