Coming from an outsider looking in (Jazz Fan) it seems like the best move in my opinion would be to trade KD for assets and build with role players around Book and Beal (his contract is impossible to move) you could get really nice pieces for KD, and recoup some draft capital. Seems like the league is moving much more towards Depth. (Dallas Minnesota for example)

It sucks that the nba changes their rules when the Suns need the old rules. The draft changed the year we should've got a top 3 pick and then these new CBA rules when the Suns first time being in the tax in a hundred years

Devin and Kevin and Bredvin
Devin and Kevin both played at all NBA first team level this season. Book averaged 27 pts while also being the 3rd best facilitator in the league(Only Luka and Jokic ahead of him). KD was dominant on both ends all season and should get more love for doing it at age 35

Having a defensive minded head coach was a major mistake. Never needed to be a top 5 defense but should have been a top 5 offense easily. Never got close to their offensive ceiling

I think Flex is spot on. Every team takes at least a year to build. Wolves were awful last year and the mavs didn't even make the playoffs last year

The mavs have a much better team after the trades they made. They wouldn't be in the position they are without their draft- Lively and picking up Gafford and Washington. So yes Flex is right. Just because you have an issue with Flex, doesn't mean he's not right. We add a couple pieces to our roster and we can make a run
