Trivium is probably my favourite band, but I feel like this song isn't really a good representation of what Trivium is. It is kinda hard to find a song that represents Trivium well because in pretty much every album they change their style a bit, but they still stay true to the great balance of heavy and melodic sounds and amazing guitar solo's. You should definately check out more Trivium and listen to a couple songs of each album. It would also be cool if you reacted to Avenged Sevenfold, they're big in the current metal scene. Also I think listening to some Dream Theater can be a real eye opener to music in general, the instrumentals in that band are amazing but songs last long. Also if you want some weird stuff, listen to Rings of Saturn.
Totally agree. Trivium is easily in my top 5 favorite bands. Their music changes and evolves frequently. I think Alex Hefner will gravitate more toward Vengeance Falls and later albums. I think if he sampled a couple from every album he would dig them as much as he’s digging on Slipknot/Stone Sour at the moment.
Totally agree songs like Betrayer, In Waves, Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr, Into the Mouth of Hell we March, Breathe in the Flames However probably not ready for Rings of Saturn. That's a whole different level of weird ass shit, their instrumental work is amazing but I even can't get passed their vocals that much
Definitely more Trivium, they're one of my favorite bands because they always have their core sound but still make each album sound different. Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr, Down From the Sky, In Waves, Strife, Silence in the Snow, and either Beyond Oblivion or Thrown Into the Fire if you want something good off of each record
Jon Noland 😂😂 I think he will enjoy the creativeness of the song with the fusion of dark lyrics and beautiful choruses (alongside orchestral instruments)
I'll be honest this song really isn't the best representation of Trivium, though I can understand that it's probably more your style than the heavier/screamy-er stuff, but if you wanna check out something a little heavier check out Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation.
This song is okay, they are capable of writing much better material. It’s not really a good representation of their sound. I’d recommend doing at least 1 song from each album cuz they change their sound a lot. My favorite one is the title track off Shogun, it has everything that makes Trivium great all in one song, it’s possibly my favorite song of all time
AJ Ingsoc anthem is brilliant for what it is. It’s a straight forward, old school metal throwback to get people pumped. Trivium have done much more complex stuff (ie: all of shogun) but I love the simplicity of this song. Gets me fired up without fail. Matt nails the James Hetfield vibe on it
Trivium, one of my all time favorite bands. Always love your reactions man, It would be totally awesome to see you react to Red cold river by Breaking Benjamin, or any Breaking Benjamin song, fantastic band. Loved the video man!
I love watching and hearing your reactions to rock/metal music. You def have a great appreciation for lyrics. If you really like the mix of screaming and melodic screaming, listen to some killswitch engage. But they have had 2 different singers but both are amazing
I don‘t know who suggested that song, but it doesn‘t show what Trivium really can do. Please react to „Strife“ or „In Waves“. Do us Trivium fans a favor.❤️ And continue your great work, I really enjoy your videos. 😁
LOOOOVE the whole Crusades album, so many great songs, especially the last song on that album is an 8 min purely instrumental nod to every song on the album bcuz you can hear elements of the other songs in that one!! 🤘🏻
benme upinside I don't think it's bad at all. But compared to everything else of theirs, it does stick out like a sore thumb. Plus with what they said when it came out, Matt pretty much admitted he was trying to bring more of a Metallica vibe to it. Again, I don't think it's a bad CD at all, it just doesn't sound like Trivium being Trivium. It sounds like Trivium tried to do a Metallica tribute CD. And pulled it off.
Your a great TH-camr with a great point of view on the music of my life METAL slipknot brought me to you I'm a mega slipknot fan and I'm glad you are loving metal
Definitely lol I don't know any real trivium fan who would suggest this 😂 by far one of their weakest songs and doesn't really display triviums true musical abilities... With lyrics especially...
i would like to suggest Trivium - songs Built to fall in waves Down From the sky pull Harder Rain Blind leading the blind as i'm expolding strife beyond oblivion Sever the hand and more and more and i really love your speech at the end of the video keep it going man keep it going..
Not really. I mean, The Crusade is low on the list of how good it is in comparison to their other music, but it's definitely not a "bad" album. As far as throwback-metal albums, I think it's pretty good.
Love Trivium, seen them live 8 or 9 times. Every album is almost like a new concept album. No two are the same but yet you can always tell it is a Trivium album. I'd love to see Alex react to each phase of this band.
One of the best things about Trivium, other than all of the memes, is hearing how their sound evolves through their different albums. I'd recommend listening to a song of each of their albums to see what I mean. My personal favourites going from the point of this album are these (in order of when they were released so listen to them in this order to see what I'm talking about): 'He Who Spawned The Furies' from Shogun 'Caustic Are The Ties That Bind' from In Waves 'Strife' from Vengeance Falls 'Until The World Goes Cold' from Silence In The Snow 'To Burn The Eye' from Ember To Inferno 'Beyond Oblivion' from The Sin And The Sentence
You should listen to trivium album to album, they are like Machine head, in the sence that not a single album sounds the same, so there style changes a lot
Allegaeon “Proponent for Sentience III- The Extermination” Allegaeon “Gray Matter Mechanics”. Two amazing lead guitarists and great lyrical content to react to.
this guy listens to all the metal that i used to listen to when i was 14 lol. Triviums new album is fantastic though.. but slipknot and trivium and metallica and korn thats what people in my high school would be listening to :p. Come on man you gotto expand to some other stuff like Death, Unleash the Archers, eluveitie, Dark Tranquility, Kreator, Sodom, Behemoth
Good job man congrats fron Brasil But for me is not the trivium apoteosis Krisute gomen The sin and the sentence Torn between scyla and charybdis The heavyest playlist of Trivium

Hi, Alex! Great reactions, I just had to sub to your channel. And yeah, I'd like to suggest a little different kind of metal for you to react to. Oceans Ate Alaska - 'Hansha' or 'Escapist', Vildhjarta - Dagger and, of course, Infant Annihilator - Blasphemian. The last one is just must see, kinda masterpiece ))
Bro I just found a video to should react to... Slipknot performed Heretic Anthem on Conan O'Brien back in 2002. This is back when they were at their absolute best and they absolutely annihilated that performance they were all on point for the whole song and it's such an unusual setting for them because this was live on NBC. One of those things you might never see again. Here's the link: m.th-cam.com/video/fO1ebT0XnlE/w-d-xo.html
Just got done watching your BabyMetal Video. You really need to watch "Megitsune" for something super dope or "Doki Doki Morning" if you want to get super confused.
Allegaeon “Proponent for Sentience III- The Extermination” Allegaeon “Gray Matter Mechanics”. Two amazing lead guitarists and great lyrical content to react to.
You should react to the live versions of Mein Teil or Engel by Rammstien. They do very cool stage performances that I think you would find interesting.
Don't have to do a react but some older rock shows to check out. Night Ranger- 7 wishes world tour 1985(full concert) Dokken- Anaheim, California- November 4, 1999 Some serious guitar players in each band and talent overall. Hope you expand your tastes in Rock and give them a chance. For a quick taste of what I mean go to the dokken vid @1:04:20 and Night Ranger @35:00-37:20 you'll have goosebumps in 10sec gauranteed
Hey brother, i am new to your channel but wow man i enjoy watching you react to these. Normally i hate reaction videos lmao but i guess its my love for metal and what not and music in general and your genuine reaction to even guitar solos which is sick..tells me you appreciate music, anyways dunno if you're gonna read this but if you haven't listened to these trivium songs i think you should just from your reaction alone to that guitar solo section. I fell in love with trivium because of that, they both had their own part or solo and or they will eventually duet as well its so sick lol. Here's some songs, Drowned and Torn Asunder, The deceived, Entrance of the Conflagration, Tread the Floods, Down from the Sky, Torn between Scylla and Charybdis. and Shogun. Im sure you've heard them since you went to that trivium concert, assuming someone likes them at least but still never hurts sharing haha keep it up do some more trivium reacts.! thanks man
Trivium - Down From The Sky

Trivium - The Sin and the Sentence

Trivium - Kirisute Gomen!
Trivium - Thrown into the Fire
Some newer trivium. Complete and utter destruction in a single song.
AfuckinMen to that.
I would consider Beyond Oblivion or Betrayer the most intense off the new record.
thrown into the fire is an intense one, considering it's about religious hypocrisy and the riffs and breakdowns oh fucking lord!

I couldn't agree more. They have so many styles that it's hard to sum up what they sound like. That's what makes them such a great band.
Totally agree. Trivium is easily in my top 5 favorite bands. Their music changes and evolves frequently. I think Alex Hefner will gravitate more toward Vengeance Falls and later albums. Matthew Benson I think the vocals on the latest two albums are good but the first two albums are not that great.
I'll have to check out the new stuff then as a buddy of mine threw an album or two my way years ago so I'm guessing they are the older ones
React to Trivium - "Down From The Sky" or "Shogun" Please!!!
Shogun is the best
SHOOOOOGUN IS FIIIIRE

i can add that to the list!
Alex Hefner thanks man, you always put out the best quality content bro
Are you trying to kill the poor guy? I don't think he's ready for that lol.
I personally would prefer afterlife but I think any a7x song will do ^^
Jon Noland 😂😂 I think he will enjoy the creativeness of the song with the fusion of dark lyrics and beautiful choruses (alongside orchestral instruments)
The Sin and the Sentence by Trivium
Please React to Parkway Drive - Wild Eyes ! its sooooo awesome :D
The end of heartache - killswitch engage
Schnot Greatest band ever!!!
DEFINETELY!!!
Dude, yes.
I'll be honest this song really isn't the best representation of Trivium, though I can understand that it's probably more your style than the heavier/screamy-er stuff, but if you wanna check out something a little heavier check out Gunshot To The Head Of Trepidation.
YES EXACTLY, Gunshot is quintessential Trivium!
If more Trivium then "Shogun" (11 mins). You'll like that roller coaster.
react to DragonForce - through the fire and the flames
Or Heroes Of Our Time 😁
Sauron's Eye He already did.
This song is okay, they are capable of writing much better material. It’s not really a good representation of their sound. But... when you going to do Rammstein?
You should do Trivium - Strife
Metallica - Battery live in Seattle 1989

The pinnacle of metal music, DO IT!
Crazy how big they got. I remember seeing them as an opening act when they were 16 years old!
Trivium, one of my all time favorite bands. Always love your reactions man, It would be totally awesome to see you react to Red cold river by Breaking Benjamin, or any Breaking Benjamin song, fantastic band. Loved the video man!
IndieTimmie that would be amazing. I love that new album

Trickyman95 All their songs are gold tbh
yeah man! What a band! sadly underrated af
Everyone does that track. Intra Venus or Urn pt2
I don‘t know who suggested that song, but it doesn‘t show what Trivium really can do.
Please react to „Strife“ or „In Waves“. Do us Trivium fans a favor.❤️
And continue your great work, I really enjoy your videos. 😁
Northlane - Quantum Flux

LOOOOVE the whole Crusades album, so many great songs, especially the last song on that album is an 8 min purely instrumental nod to every song on the album bcuz you can hear elements of the other songs in that one!! 🤘🏻
Listen to stuff off Shogun its miles better
benme upinside the crusades was the best Metallica album since the Black Album, but the weakest Trivium album
Drew Mcwhortor ok that was a good one but dude, its a good album and only the vocals are reminiscent of Hetfield
benme upinside I don't think it's bad at all. But compared to everything else of theirs, it does stick out like a sore thumb. Your a great TH-camr with a great point of view on the music of my life METAL slipknot brought me to you I'm a mega slipknot fan and I'm glad you are loving metal
Did people really suggest Anthem? They have so many better songs and especially the album Crusade is really not a good representation of Trivium
ikr? why would someone suggest this for a first reaction?
Yeah, Strife or Down From the Sky is a good intro for listening to Trivium...I don't like this song
crusade is good.
This is my thoughts exactly weak song from a weak record but hopefully he'll discover the real trivium soon xD
Definitely lol I don't know any real trivium fan who would suggest this 😂 by far one of their weakest songs and doesn't really display triviums true musical abilities... With lyrics especially...

Haha. Thought I was the only one.
Absolutely not hahahhah, Trivium have five best songs than Anthem in every Album, including Silence in the Snow (bet too high? xD)
D. O. It's not in the top 10 of the songs I like by them.
Winterson-Sons of winter and stars
Ayy didn't even see the shoutout but good looks haha
Trivium - Shogun
I noticed you got really excited for the solos so I recommend you to listen to Trivium - Becoming The Dragon. You will love it
One of the best things about Trivium, other than all of the memes, is hearing how their sound evolves through their different albums. I'd recommend listening to a song of each of their albums to see what I mean. My personal favourites going from the point of this album are these (in order of when they were released so listen to them in this order to see what I'm talking about):
'He Who Spawned The Furies' from Shogun
'Caustic Are The Ties That Bind' from In Waves
'Strife' from Vengeance Falls
'Until The World Goes Cold' from Silence In The Snow
'To Burn The Eye' from Ember To Inferno
'Beyond Oblivion' from The Sin And The Sentence
Samoclese ik man. this even has somewhat of a modern punk feel to it. compare it to the sin and the sentence and its a whole new world
Deftones - Digital Bath
React to some more Metallica
The Crusade is a great album. Never understood the hate it gets.
Check out "Becoming The Dragon" by Trivium, the bass solo in that song is amazing.

You should check out Built to Fall from them for clean vocals, and Shattering The Skies Above for not so clean vocals. They became one of my favorites.
Also check out Hollywood Undead if you dont know them by any chance, they are pretty good, gonna see them second time this summer.
Huh, haven't seen the music video for this song before. I have the album and in the music video they changed it to "let those sons of bitches" from "let those motherfuckers". Gotta hate censorship change stupid things like that.
